The 1970's version of King Kong with a smoking hot Jessica Lange and Jeff Bridges. I was like 4-5 and saw it in movie theaters. Never forget being so scared of the man in the monkey suit.

The 1st movie I remember sneaking around to watch was American Pie.

Don't remember the title - some D-list movie about two couples delivering a RV for a camping show in LA. It was all about the boobs - basically a soft-core porn suitable for the drive-in movies. This was about a week after my 17th birthday.

My cousins had me watch the original Halloween when I was about 5 yrs old. I was scared shitless for weeks and had a hard time going to sleep.

The first R rated film I snuck into was 300.

I was going to say Porky's, but Night Shift was prior to that. Then Blues Brothers then I remembered Animal House back in 1978. That had to be it until I saw someone mentioned the 70's version of King Kong, with Jeff Bridges. It might be this, or possibly 2 Minute Warning, with Beau Bridges. Both were from 1976. I just can't remember which I saw first. I was in 4th Grade back then too.

Just checked. I was 11 when I saw Scream (I love that they just let me in because I was with my 17 year old brother, lol) and I was 13 when I saw Wild Things. I believe my friends mom bought us the tickets and just dropped us off.

Jodie Foster in The Accused. I looked it up and I believe it was released on VHS around the Christmas of 1988. That means I would have been 3 yrs old. I remember vividly walking into the family room of my grandmas and seeing that broad getting railed against the pinball machine. It was epic.

Good post! I remember my buddy Jason had the "cool mom" who let us rent whatever we wanted at the video store. One night, my idoiot friends and I asked her if we could rent this B-flick called "Takin' it Off" that had tempted us from the shelf for months. She agreed, and I found the cover of the movie, check it out:

It was probably a horror flick like Halloween or Nightmare on Elm Street.

I remember watching a movie that had a lot of boobs in it when I was like 5 back in '91.

When I was 9, I saw my first R rated movie, Death Warrant with Van Damme. I thought it was coolest thing I had ever seen.

First one my parents let me watch was Terminator 2.

First one I snuck into was Friday. Just by chance my buddies uncle sat down right behind us. He obviously knew we weren't supposed to be there, but when the usher can through and tried to kick us out, he said we were with him.

My best friends DEVOUTLY Catholic mom took us to see The Exorcist at the theater when we were 13. She thought it would be a good movie with a strong religious theme. Woops. That movie scared the living shit out of me and there were many scenes where I understand the concept of being mortified to be watching that with someone's mom! That movie still gives me the chills after all these years.

Mine was also The Exorcist. My sister and her boyfriend were going to the drive in and my parents made her take me and my friend. They bought us some candy, put us in the front seat and got in the back and made us promise to tell mom we saw The Way We Were. I was 10.

"Enemy at the Gates," when I was 16. Was grounded for it afterward, even though I had cleared it with my (uber-evangelical) parents beforehand.

Hmmm... your friend's cool mom's name did not happen to be Mary Kay Latourneau was it?
