Which one? How much does it cost?

I graduate in a few weeks and I will no longer be able to work out at the RPAC. My girlfriend and I are moving to Hilliard and I would like to join a gym. There is an Urban Active and Lifestyle Family Fitness right down the street from our condo. Anyways, what do you guys think?

Member of Snap Fitness, 24-7 franchise located around the country. $69 enrollment fee, $49.95 monthly for a joint account (I imagine prices vary)

I like it. Check out their website if you're interested http://www.snapfitness.com/

There's a Lifestyle Family Fitness here in Charlotte that is very nice, and you can pay month to month. All the treadmills have TV's, which was a big plus for me. However, they only had the one location so I joined somewhere else.

Urban Active. It was $79 a month when I signed up but I had an employee discount that got it down to $39. Bad part was I had to sign a 3 year contract to sign up. Not more than 2 weeks later they dropped the 3 year contract thing and also prices. It went down to $30 a month and could cancel any time you wanted. Other than that I really like UA's set up and equipment.

Every piece of cardio equipment had full cable at Urban Active plus they had a "Cardio Cinema" where they would play a different movie on repeat all day every day. Pretty sweet.

Yeah. The Urban Active in Hilliard has this as well. I'm leaning towards getting a membership with them. Talked to a friend who said its only 30 bucks a month and you can cancel at anytime.

Urban Active, $39 month to month.
They have a lot of equipment and plenty of room, even at their busiest times you can still easily find any machine open.

That's the one I belonged to until I moved up to Perrysburg. Some pretty nice scenery there too.

I don't know if Hilliard has some sort of city Rec Center, but you might want to check into it.

I belong to the Brunswick Rec Center and since I live in the city it works out to be something like $8 or $9 a month.

To my Charlotte buddy I see there is a Urban Active opening up in the Ballantyne area on the 30th of this month.

Sweet :) I'll have to check it out, I'm still with ZX Fitness in South Park for the next few months.

It's not too bad, but I probably won't renew when my membership is up, doesn't have a ton of amenities.

I belong to the Urban Active in Hilliard. I personally don't like it. I use a lot of free weights and it tends to get pretty crowded after work, when I go. But it is the best in the area.

I'm currently paying $30/month and am month to month. If the Hilliard location doesn't offer that, go to the new Grandview one as they are running plenty of promotions (the sales office is on 5th Ave in Grandview by the Chipotle). And I can use my pass at any Urban Active, some memberships restrict you to one gym.

Not sure how old you are, but the YMCA in Hilliard is really nice and is only like $20/ month if you are under the age of 25 (I think).
