Been taking some vicodin for some pain lately and instead of feeling absolutely giddy and wonderful like people have told me, I feel sluggish, out of it, and awful.... why?

Never took vicodin but I was on percocet after I got my wisdom teeth out and it just made me nauseous. Then again maybe you need to take that with alcohol too.

Try a complete/full body cleanse, I hear that makes you feel happy and not sluggish.

vicoden will make you feel out of it, mostly the people who are all giddy are the people who take it without an injury

I think its "on vicodin" not "in vicodin" ...if you are sticking them "in" you like a suppository they may not be working correctly.

I've been on several pain killers over the years and haven't had one that makes me feel any better. They make me feel sick and I get very disoriented when I awake from sleep, so I very rarely will take any of them.

its because you have a low tolerance to opiates. you're taking a way higher dose than your body is used to, it makes you sluggish and tired and sometimes even nauseous. If you take it for awhile you will start to feel the other side effects.

I believe Tweeder said it best: "You give 'em a Percocet, two Vicodin and a couple of beers, and the panties drop. It's very NIIICCEEEEE."

You are supposed to take them witha decent amount of food in your stomach (not just a little snack) so you don't feel sick.

The violin is soothing to me. But if someone is bad at it, it could be nauseating.

What's the strength? If it's 5/500 it really isn't too too much stronger than something you can get over the counter.

I can't take narcotics at all. 20 minutes after taking them, I'm puking. And the whole time I'm sick, I feel discombobulated.

4 Tylenol is all I took when I got my wisdom teeth out, 2 Aleve/day when my back went out for a week and that's about it.

I took oxycodone after I had oral surgery and it fucked me up. I would even cut them in half and they were still too much. I was working at a factory for the Summer and I couldn't keep up with my work even though I thought I was going at a fast pace (and was sweating a ton). After the first couple nights I would go into my supervisors office when I got there and if they had extras he would let me go home. When I wasn't working I slept like 20 hours a day.

I mean they helped me with my tooth...but yeah it was kinda crazy.
