granted i read the first page of this thread and stopped, but has anyone addressed the fact that the ref admitted no wrong doing (i.e. he didn't say "I cheated the Seahawks out of the game."). I know it's semantics, but making bad calls that cost the game and cheating are 2 totally separate things in my book.
and BFD, it was 5 years ago, the steelers were a very good team, i don't have a problem with it and I hate p burg as much as capone loves to rim on the rooneys.

Let me propose this scenario for you:
Backed up in your own endzone with minutes left in the game, leading by 6, a gutsy lazer move the sticks for the first down and looks to be well on your way to icing the SB win. But a questionable holding call wipes that out for a safety.
Now, you have the ball back with only a few minutes left, trailing by 3....ANOTHER holding call makes it 1st and 20 on your own 12 yard line. The rest is SB history. That is how real champions respond.
