3 ball counts to each of the first four batters, and the two he didn't walk swung at ball 4!

wind is blowing in....throw strikes and get ahead
He has serious focus issues.....nice play to finish it.....surprised he didn't kill a fan in the 30th row

28 pitches for Coco to put up a zero! Bronson and Arthur put up 8 zeroes and the most it took them for any one inning was 21!

Important first game of the series win! I think this puts them 14 games over .500 for the first time this season, and probably anytime in the last decade!

First trip to Wrigley this year, sitting in a bar full of Reds fans now. Great game.

What is Dusty talking about the heat and humidity in Chicago today taking a toll on Bronson. It's only 82 F with only 55 F dewpoint!

Bronson really thinks a lot out there. His quote shows some very tight planning in the 5th!
Arroyo on escaping the second, third no-out jam in the fifth:
"That was the ballgame in itself. I had really good stuff for about four innings and kind of cruised through. Running the bases hard, (Tom) Gorzelanny had some quick innings, so I didn’t get a lot of rest, I was pinch tired. I was missing spots with my fastball. I needed a strikeout against the pitcher first and foremost. I got that. I was going to pitch around the leadoff guy (Tyler Colvin) if I had to. I went upstairs (and got the popup). I was going to try to finish the inning with (Starlin) Castro. I didn’t want to face Derrek Lee with the bases loaded, regardless of how hes been swinging. You never want to face that guy. I threw a 2-2 breaking ball off the plate (to Castro) and then went back on it. He’s a good breaking ball hitter. But I thought I’d be able to beat him there."
If he was going to pitch around Colvin if he had to, and didn't want to face Lee with the bases loaded, what option did that leave? Pretty much just a double play hit into by Castro!

Hell no Bronson didn't get a rest....the Reds hitters swinging at every close pitch allows for some very quick innings.
