Verified that Cueto is starting? LeCure heading back to Louisville? Glad to hear he's feeling better at least.

Guess that means no one has to worry about the 2010 version of Patterson/Tavaras eating up valuable playing time.

I'm pretty excited to see what this team can do tonight with the chance to take over 1st place again. Janish gets rewarded with the start after missing a sign, I guess that's Dustyball. Rolen should be available to pinch hit, so Gomes, Rolen, Hanigan, Heisey is a pretty solid bench if they can keep Oswalt from going real deep.

According to John Fay's twitter page during pre-game Rolen is running the bases and pretty close to full speed

Marty Brennaman putting out mis-information saying that Stubbs Kd on a ball. Looked to me it was the best of the three to hit(the first two were called on the low outside corner, and the one he swung at was more on the inner half)!

Okay Johnny Cueto, with a 6-0 lead, pound the zone with strikes, don't even get to 3 balls on another batter!

Reds with 8 hits, a pair by four different players, all 6 runs scored by those same players, and 6 RBI, a pair each by three of those players. Nix doing well in the #4 spot, and Hernandez, the only one with two RBI producing hits doing well in his first game back catching! And it looks like Cabrera and Votto are in top form.

Cueto looks real good. He's approaching that elite level of pitchers in the NL.

Cueto holds the Astros scoreless thru 7 innings on 100 pitches, 3 hits, and a walk. And Dusty sends him out for the 8th. I don't know if that's a good idea!

I was pleased to see Phillips make a fundamentally good dart like toss to Cabrera to make sure of the force out, and Cabrera drops it and everyone is safe. Hope that doesn't contribute to a big inning and another loss when the Reds were ahead by 6 or more.
