Jermaine Gresham will have a great rookie season, and with a revived cedric benson in the backfield. I like everything the bengals are doing.

Again, who will throw them the ball?

T.O. will get a job just prior to the first week...which is what he wants. Why would a 36 year old receiver want to go through yet another training camp? Save the knees and speed for the games that count.

Think he will be decent in stripes. And some on this thread are just mad we swept the north last year.

St. Louis is reportedly very interested. My guess is at least one of these teams is in play for leverage. I would think TO has at least some interest in a ring, which would eliminate STL as a legit possibility.

The Rams are out.

Terrell Owens has already played for four different teams. Why isn't he still with one of those teams? He has tremendous talent yes. He will make some big plays. The problem is at some point he will have an issue with something or someone or both, and then the downside will rear it's ugly head. I don't think in the long run that this acquisition will prove beneficial. Just too much baggage.

Interesting thoughts by Yahoo's Jason Cole concerning why TO currently isn't with a team.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AmzSkCxgoUuCy2.3Z9GDhHtDubYF?slug=jc-road072610
As former Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens(notes) struggles to find work, a couple of people from the Cowboys organization said they aren’t surprised at Owens’ unemployment, and scoffed at any talk of blackballing. “He’s just not very good anymore,” one Cowboys front-office person said. “It’s not the drops; that’s always been an issue. It’s that he’s lost a step and he doesn’t like contact. He never did, but now he won’t run through the defense anymore so he’s only playing outside the numbers. It’s really easy for the defense to limit him.” Another Cowboys employee just shook his head and said: “He still thinks he’s the T.O. of three or four years ago. He’s in great shape, but there are a lot of fundamental things he just doesn’t do that hurt him a lot. A lot. It’s hard for him to get open against any kind of challenging coverage.”

Yea, that's the thing about being a clown. Teams will put up with you as long as you're good, but the second you lose a step? Not so much.

Yeah. It's kinda like the Shaq syndrome with more of an emphasis on being a clown. Both were elite players in their profession. Both have lost a step or two. Neither have truly come to grips with that and still look at themselves as being upper-tier dudes at their position. Smart personnel guys tend to not want the headache of dealing with supporting-cast talent with main event egos.

Sources: Jets reach out to Owens' agent
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5412850

The Jets are apparently discussing the idea of bringing T.O in. While it is unlikely, Rex Ryan is always game for reclamation projects and it would be par for the course with the offseason they have had.

Braylon, Santonio, T.O and Dustin Keller would be a potent group of targets for Sanchez. An awful lots of egos as well, but Rex Ryan is the kind of guy that could probably make it work. They are all in at this point anyway, so what would it really hurt at this point. It would be an absolute circus in NY next season to say the least if they actually followed through on such a thing.

The offense is going to be FUN to watch this year!!! Add in a top 5-10 Defense from last year I see NO WAY we shouldn't repeat as AFC North Champions

I sure hope this works, as long as the team stays more healthy than last year I agree.

The guy has talent but look at the overall picture with Owens.

If the slighest things don't go his way then you have a problem on your hands. There was a reason it took a guy with this much talent this long to find a home.

C.A.N.C.E.R is something that a good Bengals team doesn't need right now and they may have it with Owens if one thing doesn't go his way.

I think T.O. is at a point in his career where he isnt going to be as verbal as he used to be. I didnt think there were any problems with him and the Bills and they blew, could be wrong though. When he was with the Cowboys, most of that stuff was blown way out of proportion by the media.

Even when Big Ben comes back who is he going to throw too? I doubt the WR corp of: Antwan Randle El, Hines Ward, Limas Sweed & Mike Wallace really scares the Bengals Secondary

I am laughing because you think teams like the Steelers and Ravens will fear an overrated big mouth in Ocho Stinko and a 36 year old has been, who drops more passes than he catches in TO.......you're in fantasy land!

You should be fearing these guys:
