Never heard of anyone doing this. Maybe it's an Ohio thing?

I'm a big fan, and if we have another baby, we'll have another one. The baby is almost 5 months old and we are STILL using diapers from the diaper party.

If saving money is gay, consider me Miles Davis.

Congrats on the marriage. :)

A friend of mine said he was going to a Diaper Party a few weeks ago and I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. He said they usually have them at bars. I asked him, dont you get harassed for having one at bars? Then he explained to me what they were. Now they sound like a great idea.

Well the idea went from good to crappy in a matter of hours. It's now a joint party with the broads.

Speaking of, I have to go to a damn 1st birthday party tomorrow. You know how many people they are expecting to be there????? 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's ridiculous.

We usually decline invitations to birthday parties for kids. It's a gift grab. If he's 1, invite his family. If he's 5, invite his own friends. But it's not like he'll remember his first birthday anyway, so why invite all your friends and force them to give gifts? Seems silly to me.

I have no problem with birthday parties for children...but I would only invite family and very close friends. 70 people is insane.
