Do you think that Steubenville will just assume that Mooney won't throw the ball at all and not worry about the pass? I guarantee that Inkster threw the ball better than Mooney can, although I'm sure Mooney runs the ball better. We will just have to wait and see how it all plays out on Friday.

Whether or not they will pass will depend on how well we can stop or contain their run. If they run it down our throats, then no need to pass. However, if we make running the ball hard for them, then look for more passing. I hope we can force them to pass. That means we're doing something well defensively.

Yeh Idon't think we are going to have to put 8 in the box to hold up the run all the time.

Well the Big RED defense is pretty good. Most were soph.and juniors last year. They grew in strength just like your team did.

Good luck to both teams! Don't care who wins, but I believe D-III belongs to Mooney this year.

Big Red got rid of the Mooney jinx last year and we got rid of the Massillon jinx this year. Big Red is on a roll!!!

I agree with JP that this game is going to be close. You have two highly competitive teams with great traditions. Neither will give up. As to who will win, whoever executes better. Both of these teams are capable of winning this game in any conditions, it's just who wants it more. FairwoodKing states that Big Red got rid of the Mooney jinx last year, true so they know they can win. Mooney knows how it felt to lose to Big Red last year and be knocked out of the playoffs and they don't want that to happen again so they'll want revenge. We can all sit here at our keyboards and type what we want but it's going to come down to two teams of teenagers playing what might be the most important game of their young lives. Question is, who wants it more. Good luck to both teams, play hard and injury free. GO CARDS

I think this will be a good game and I have a feeling you will see big red pass more in this game its the semi finals and its time to start opening up the playbook.

I like you...you make sense...may it be a great game and The Mighty Big Red prevail! (I am sure you want the opposite!) :D

Yep...and then when Big Red throws 8 guys in the box to try to stop it...Zordich goes to the air and shows the Big Red that he does in fact have an arm!

Zordich gets AT LEAST one TD pass Friday night.
Not only does BR have to prepare for A. PETERSON (heard) now TOM BRADY !!! BR is in for a long night !!!

Let's not forget about Johnathan Ogden and Alan Faneca on that O Line!
And who can forget James Harrison in their LOLB slot!

Good to see some familiar names here, although it seems that 90% of the folks are from Steubenville.

Karrington Griffin and Clarence Scott didn't play against Poland. Griffin was the main ball carrier last year against Big Red. Heard and Vinopal were dinged up and mainly just played defense.

"Infest" is more appropriate.

I know, but I figured I would stay in spirit of the Steubenville folks that NEVER actually talk any football nor discuss any players on the team.
