If Ohio State can still beat Michigan pretty handily with an offense that may as well not even play, then I doubt it. I bet within a few years Michigan isn't back to what they were with Long, Henne, Hart, Edwards, and a great defense...and they still couldn't do it. Your best bet is for Tressel to run for Senate.

I don't really care for the Big 10 but it's better for CFB when UM can compete.....Hopefully once Richy gets his kids in there he can get something goin'.

Well here is a Big Red fan not afraid to face the music. We got whacked tonight & it isn't the end of the world like it wasn't last year after Alter nor was it in 03' after Benny.

Big Red has something that most programs don't & that is a tradition of being an elite program while others are just pretenders. Too bad that to get to the Mooney's in this world you have to go through Big Red.

Mooney has an awesome team. The better team certainly won and we were dominated tonight. Kudos to coach Fecko and his staff for devising a good gameplan and really running roughshod over us. The worst losses -- for me -- are the games that you lose which you should win. We've gone down like that in the playoffs before and those are the ones that stay with me.

This game? There isn't much else to say except congratulations and good luck. That is one heck of a team.

It would have taken a perfect game and some breaks to beat a team like that. Unfortunately, we didn't help ourselves by playing so poorly in the first two quarters. However, that is to take nothing away from Mooney. It takes a great team to capitalize on your opponent's mistakes and take advantage of situations. Mooney did that and then some.

In the second half, they broke our will... Which is hard to do against a Big Red team.

Good luck to Mooney against DeSales. I hope you complete the journey.

To the Big Red team, especially the seniors (and coaches)... Great run. You have nothing to hang your heads about. Sometimes, you lose to a better team. Great season and we'll be back next year.

Mooney tailback is a stud

Just got back from Canton. Mooney was simply too big, too fast and too strong.
It was quite a decade for the Big Red football team. They have a lot to be proud of. I think their record the last 10 years is 116-15, or something like that, including a pair of state championships.

While I don't care for how some people post...and I am sure the same could be said about me by others...and some trash talk can be fun as long as it isn't taken too far into personal attacks...and predictions are fun and honestly how many of you actually pick against your team?...and I see the words "arrogance" and "class" thrown around alot...I see pride where you see arrogance...class is a matter of prespective...it is just just a high school football forum for goodness sakes don't take things so personally!!!
