Competitions, like where the opinions of a couple people watching a routine determines whose was better? Not sure what the bills from the ER and chiropractor have to do with anything - I have those from many things that aren't sports.

So...we are splitting hairs on what a sport is? I'm talking about athleticism being a sport. Apparently you think there is a difference. I will now go ram my head into a brick wall a few times.

Whenever people argue this, this is one of the main points. Which eliminates a good portion of Olympic events. It could also eliminate wrestling since the referee determines when the points are issued.

It doesn't really because you know if certain things occur, a point is awarded. The ref could get it wrong, but that is no different than a football official failing to signal for a touchdown. The points aren't added until the official says so in a lot of sports. Cheerleading doesn't have a guide that says, you get so many points for this or that. It is a couple people watching and giving their opinion of how good it was. Huge difference.

Okay, so cheerleaders could be athletic. Yeah, I agree with that. Still not a sport.

America's Got Talent has a cheerleading squad compete. Even gay dudes had to be embarrassed by the 30-40 yr olds unable to let go of the gayness of their youth. The group was, unsurprisingly, from San Fran.
