I never said that LeBron will be inferior in talent to Wade. Another example is A-Rod and Jeter in NY. A-Rod is better but it's Jeter's team. Hell it's both figuratively and literally Wade's county.
LeBron goes to Miami, he is going to Wade's team. There is nothing you can say that can refute that. Wade won a ring there. Wade has been the face of the franchise the past seven years. It will ALWAYS be seen as LeBron joining up with Wade because HE couldn't bring people to Cleveland. Jpake, you can't look at 164 games and just call them an anomaly. The Cavs had just as good of a chance as the Lakers, Celtics, and Magic to win the title. They didn't get it done in a great part to the ineptitude of Mike Brown (who you conveniently ignore when talking about the Cavs) and in part to the circumstances that surrounded them going into the playoffs (trying to integrate Shaq back in). You can call them excuses since they don't fit your argument that's fine.
If LeBron leaves it's the hometown guy leaving his team that had the best record the past 2 seasons, that offered him more money than any other team, and was committed to spending ungodly amounts of money to winning a championship and keeping him and his boys happy. If he leaves he has NO ONE to blame but himself. He leaves because he wants to party it up in South Beach and be with guys that can (maybe) give him an easy title. He will still be viewed as a great player when it's all said and done but will NEVER be considered one of the greatest because he couldn't be the leader those other greats were. LeBron may be better, but the new Super-Heat is still and will always be Dwayne Wade's team.
The past two regular seasons showed they were a damn good team. Damn good teams don't win rings, great ones do. Sorry I never bought into the regular season like you guys did. Sorry I saw through your team, and got shit for it the past two years, to be proven right. Some people saw that team for what they were, others were hoping they were more than what they were. I've said team, jackass, the coaches are part of that team. The players and the coaches weren't good enough combined to be champions. LBJ will go down as one of the top 5 greatest players ever. Not everybody is a bitter fuck like you Cavs fans. He'll build his legacy with some rings. People can hate on his character like they did Kobe, but winning erases many of those thoughts.
