You dont do that because of one player. Dont forget that the Cavs havent made a SINGLE move that Lebron hasnt approved off. Many people that know the game more than any of us had the Cavs as the favorites to win the league last year, now all of a sudden they dont have any talent? Come on. Its not as if the Cavs are stuck with this roster. That had the pieces to bring in a guy like Bosh but Bosh didnt want any part of it. Obviously they are good enough to add some talent around him.
They're pretty far off. Those last fews steps are the hardest. They'd still be a top 6 team, I don't question that. It's just they aren't close IMO. Winning 2-3 games in the Finals tells me you're close... when you can't even get there, well boys, back to the drawing board. I havn't forgotten, I'm one of the most vocal about LBJ having bad opinions on bringing in players. He's as much to blame as Ferry. I'm not really worried about what the "experts" tell me; my nba preditions the past two years went just fine NOT listening to them. I'm not saying they don't have talent, so way to take that to the very edge. They just aren't close to a ring IMO. Without LBJ, they still might be a 8 seed. And why do people keep bringing up Bosh. You had pieces Toronto liked, but you DIDN"T get it done. He NEVER wanted to come to Cleveland. Did you guys or your inside sources want to hear it? Hell no. If they're good enough to add talent around him, they might want to start hitting the phones harder, time is running out.
