So since the topic of Vampires is all over the TV right now, figured I'd talk about the better kind of Vampire.

I just watched the latest 2 episodes of TB, this season is a bit weird. But not gonna lie the sex scene from sundays episode was HOT!

Who else is a fan and is currently watching?

Got the first season on blu ray from Netflix sitting on my TV stand. I haven't been able to watch it yet.

I saw one episode and thought it looked good.

I didnt have HBO for Season 2 (back home), but just started up a Netflix account to get them, lol. I hope to be caught up in time for episode 5.

Been watching True Blood since the show started 2 years ago and I have got to say, it is taking a totally different path then I thought it would. This season is interesting, last season was kind of lame.

Just watched the first episode last night and thought it was pretty cool, most HBO shows are good so I'm going to try and catch up on it.

Tonight's episode may have been the best one so far in 2 + seasons. All kinds of shit going on. Loved how Tara took command of her "relationship" issues. :D

If you don't like gay stuff, then stop watching now. True Blood (the book series) has a number of gay characters, many within the vampire community -- because vamps live so long, they are often pansexual and really don't care about gender as much as the blood and/or person in forming relationships.

In my mind, the series is so good, you simply pass over the aspects you don't particularly like and focus on the guts of the stories -- which are rooted in vamp politics, deception and murder (both supernatural and human alike).

Oh and tiernan may be correct. I thought at the time she should have made sure his head came off and he was a steaming pile of ash before leaving the room.

Exactly ... plus the gay aspects of the show are done so in a tongue-in-cheek fashion: like gays in society, the vampires are trying to integrate themselves into the culture of a primarily closed-minded southern community. So you can see the symmetry there ... but for the record, I would rather see some nice lesbian action! :) (just saying)
