Play clocks have already been shot down. Think about it: where does the team look before they snap the ball? Enough said.
Cheers.

Carrollton goes to Marlington this week hoping for a HUGE upset. If that would happen, it would really stir things up in region 11.

What is up with Liverpool? I predicted them at the beginning of the year to be a playoff team but then they got squashed by Carrolton. and now they go beat Zanesville who will be 9-1 or 8-2 this year WOW. Id like to see 8 Ohio valley teams make up our region keep it up

We got hit hard with some injuries against Carrollton... We were up 19-3 add the injuries and self destruct... Kids didn't believe they could win with a few leaders gone... But now I think some attitudes have changed and kids are playing as a team. Our next 6 games are brutal.. Struthers 2-2, Ferry 4-0, Chaney 1-3, oak glen 3-1 and one of top dogs of Buckeye8, John Marshall 3-1, Salem 3-1... We need to take care of ourselves 1 week at a time and we're in.

hey hey hey now ... give Carrollton some credit for that beatdown ... we had a little to do with it ... we scored 44 unanswered after your 19-3 lead.

I hope EL wins every game they have left.

UMMMM.... They answered the call... We couldn't.... These kids have been through a lot and being up like that is a shock to them really.... They got a little cocky and it bit them in the rear..... Loco, I hope we do too... Along with you....

As of this week . Looks like this . Steuby, Marlington, and Sheridan will all be no less than 9-1 and are in . Minerva 8-2 are in 7-3 are out East Liverpool is in at 7-3 and very close at 6-4 alot of schedule points. Salem is probably in at either 7-3 or 8-2 Liverpool game will be playoff game for Potters and maybe for Salem Carrollton 6-4 is out 7-3 and are in . I think they will miss Indian Creek 7-3 and they are definitly in anything better and its probably home game Edison HC or IC will get in and maybe two of them with luck but they may all knock each other out like last year .

Dover will win out, make the playoffs, but they aren't a contender this year.

You might want to go to this weeks northwest thread and break the news to them. At 1-3 they are all under the delusional assumption they are still in it. LMAO.
I think Dover may pull in the bottom 3 going 8-2 but it all depends how things play out. ECOL teams have not done well with the ooc teams.

Dover should win out, barring a complete meltdown defensively at some point during the ECOL schedule. They should collect just enough points to get in. I would expect Carrollton to win about 6 games total, and Canfield should get to 6 or 7 wins, which should be enough with the conference schedule to get them in between the 6-8 spots. A win against either Tri-Valley or Ashland would have meant hosting in round 1. Instead the 2 close losses will mean a difficult road game in round 1.

Indian Creek will have to make a lot of improvements in time for St. Clairsville and Ferry to have a shot at the playoffs.

Edison will have to win all other games on their schedule if they lose to St. Clairsville.

I love the Fred G Sanford shot man . Agreed with IC . They have a history of slipping up and they might not have the horses to get in the dance do not know.

You might be right with Edison Although it will be close . Tyler and Weir play each other and other teams play each other so points are coming for Edison . If Dover slips one more time then it gets real close for the Buckeye 8 teams .

Why? Didnt they kill you guys ? BTW I notice Dover ran it up against you guys and you did Liverpool the same favour . Do you guys keep your starters in for a long time even when your up by 25 or more ? Did Dover take there starters out against you guys . Not ripping at all I know alot of HS teams keep starters in IMO way too long . Not trying to brag but if Steubenville wanted too we could put 60 something on many teams without batting an eye . We let everybody play everbody when we are up big and that means most of the 3rd quarter till the end. It helps our program and it makes all the kids feel like they are more than scout squad takling dummies. I look at alot of scores and know teams are just letting people have it .

I watched some highlights from a couple of Marlington games and their two stud running backs have made me a believer. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up as a BR/Marlington regional championship game. It'll be fun to watch the upstart Dukes against the perennial powerhouse. I wouldn't want to face either one in the first round. It could be a quick exit for whoever faces them.

BR
Marlington
Sheridan
Minerva
LH
Salem
EL
Dover
