Actually, I think that is because Pasteur's computer program can't factor in out of state games very well if at all.
If it could, I would expect them to easily be somewhere in the top 5.

^^^^^ Hahaha ^^^^^^^^^ True. And Quaker love your love for your team. But man you talk a lot. If Salem is so great and as you and others like to say "The Best" then why are you not #1 seed and 10-0? We will beat the best we face but that isn't always THE BEST.

Drew P's lost, he is a numbers crunching stat freak who knows zero about these teams. He has Dover listed ahead of Sheridan. I believe Dover went to Tri-Valley and LOST while Sheridan went to Tri-Valley and completely dominated them 42-14 in a game that wasn't even as close as the final score. He knows nothing. Stueby will beat Dover by more then one point IMO, I think he has the Licking Valley game called about right even though neither is that good IMO, he is just going with what happened score wise in the Marlington/Minerva rematch, though I feel Minerva really isn't that good. Sheridan/Salem is probably accurate, I expect that to be a good game. Realistically, none of it means anything, the kids will take care of it on the field. This region belongs to Stueby until someone takes it from them. There are a few teams capable but we will see.

Statistics is number crunching, no personal opinion, no bias, and in this case, no comparison of same opponents. This is simply statistics based on the entire season of all teams.

That is the point "moneyballa". Drew Pasteur is unbiased and only "crunches stats". I would say he has Dover ahead of Sheridan based on their non-conference strength of schedule. There is no reason to gripe about his predictions because as long as your team is in the playoffs, they control their own destiny. That is the beauty of the playoff system, if Thornville and Dover both win, we will see who the better team is head to head.

Unfortunately, Minerva made many mental mistakes and penalties that cost them the game. I believe they had over 100 yds of penalties in the second half. There is no room for error when you are playing backs such as Thomas and Hill. They can break a long run and change the course of the game at any time. Fortunately, Minerva gets another shot at Marlington and if they commit few penalties and execute like they did in the 1st half of the 1st meeting, I like their odds. Not to mention having Minerva's Drew. P 100% the whole game opposed to being concussed in the 2nd half.

It seems that he bases his predictions on what he considers strenght of schedule. I get annoyed when people get on a site like the huddle and say "well this team is going to win this game and this region because Drew P says so." Realistically he knows very little about most of these teams. For example, you are saying he is basing putting Dover in front of Sheridan based on schedule strenght, who determines how strong a schedule is? Dover plays in the ECOL, Sheridan in the MVL. While I agree the MVL was down this year it still won the head to head matchup with the ECOL this season 5-3. I will give you Dover did play a very good Ashland team and lost a close game. They beat a Coshocton team that barely beat a horrible Claymont team and slipped by a bad MVL team in Maysville so Coshocton isn't much of a strong win. Tri-Valley beat them. Not sure exactly where he comes up with his predictions but they certainly aren't based on fact.

Is the #1 seed going down? The lions had the dukes earlier this year? This could come down to a trick or big play on special teams. Hope everyone is prepared

To what I understand, neither. I was told that it's pretty much dirt in between the 30's at this point in the season.
