Just had a burger with crumbled blue cheese melted over it.....GOAT.

I voted for blue cheese being the goat... however I struggled because I do like goat cheese as well... LOL That by some could be considered:
GOAT goat cheese. I still prefer blue cheese though...

It's great, especially when being used as a dip for some extra wet garlic wings

^^^^I am very intrigued with this drink. I have heard people say it is good, although, I hear of it has a type of dirty martini.

Love it, but it is possible to get ahold of some rough tasting Bleu Cheese dressing.

I'm having a Wendy's BLT Cobb salad w/ bleu cheese right now!

Specialty of the Cafe Du Cat Food...

Take about 6 oz of thin-sliced steak or prime rib (already cooked - we make extra in order to have leftovers for this the next day). Mix in a tablespoon of chopped fresh ginger and a teaspoon of minced garlic for each six ounces of meat.

Drop the meat/ginger/garlic mix on a hot griddle or skillet. Season with kosher salt, white and black pepper, and paprika. Grill for about three minutes.

Turn the meat, top with a generous handful of Maytag blue cheese crumbles and 1 teaspoon of wasabi (mixed together beforehand). Season again with the salt/pepper/paprika blend, cover with a steamer lid (or an upside-down metal bowl), leave on the grill for about two minutes more.

Place a split kaiser roll face-down on the griddle with about a minute left (I give the buns a very light coat of butter-flavored cooking spray first).

Place the rib/steak on the toasted kaiser roll, top with lettuce and tomato, and serve.

Good on burgers and gyro meat, too - but we gotta keep the cholesterol level within reason. :)

bleu...is fantastic.
and the related gorgonzola.

for anyone that loves the buffalo-style toppings...
you are missing the boat if you wimp-out and order "ranch".

Buffalo chicken is designed for the bleu...the bitter creaminess balances out the hot and spicy...this is probably the most perfect food invention.

Yes it is a dirty vodka martini...
Favorite vodka over ice... a little olive juice and I like either blue cheese stuffed olives, or anchovie stuffed olives. Quite refreshing... but as a buddy says "It ain't for everybody" LOL

Problem with bleu cheese is there are no Govt. regs on product quality...you go into one wing place and the bleu is absolutlyfrickinlicious (Wings n Rings for example) and then the next place it tastes like moldy ranch dressing (Hooters for example). Let's demand some consistency America!

Make 2 thinner than normal hamburg patties, put a ton of bleu cheese between them then seal them around the edges. Best burger ever.

I don't mind it occasionally but I certainly don't think it's better than all other cheeses.

The smell alone of blue cheese, ranch dressing, or any mayonnaise based sauce makes me want to retch. I'm just not hard-wired for it. I can't even sit next to a person eating any sort of emulsified or molded dairy product.
