Make them clean it up, call their parents if you are really pissed for some reason but a prank that almost everyone does (and the house owner likely did too) is not something to call the cops on.

Yeah I agree. If this is the worst thing kids do we should be very thankful.

When I was a young 15yr old I did a little TPing myself. Several of my friends and I decided to TP another friends house. One of my friends that had a drivers license drove and we met up with a couple of others that lived near by. He parked his car in a driveway nearby. The driveway was long so you could not see the house from where we parked.

The friends house we were TPing was right along a state road. As we were committing our criminal acts a county sheriff car drove by. We saw his break lights light up. We knew we had been spotted. Everyone bolted for the woods. We jumped a fence and ran through the woods tripping over fallen logs until we reached a creek bed. From there we could barely see the house.

The deputy woke up our friends parents and proceeded to come into their backyard and shined a search light into the woods. We all laid low in the creek bed. We heard them yell to come out. Even our friend pleaded for us to come out. We whispered amongst ourselves if we should show ourselves. The consensus was F the police. Once they pulled off the search lights we headed through the woods about a mile to one of the perpetrators homes and woke up their parents and told them what happened. We called my dad and he came and picked us up. My friend got his car towed. Holmes county's finest were hard at work back in the 80's.

I've only TP'd once and the cops were called on us. Thankfully though I was a conference champion in the 4x100 so I eluded the homeowner. Fucking Mrs. White, our 8th grade teacher..

I ran away from the guy into a cornfield without him seeing who I was. Unfortunately, my car was parked a few houses down and he ran and grabbed the keys out of it. lol
