Is this "preordained" that PH and Coldwater will match up? I'm thinking that OHSAA reserves the right to re-bracket state semifinal games?

Congratulation to the Patriots!!! Who will be the home team in this one? Big difference to the fan in regard to seating. Visitors seating is not very good. Go Patriots!!!

Patrick Henry is on the top of the bracket on the OHSAA website, so that would normally mean PH is the home team.

The OHSAA came out with State semi-final matchups (matching region winner vs region winner) earlier in the week.

Good Luck Patrick Henry from this Wynford Royal fan. We know what you are capable of and will be rooting for you against the mighty MAC. You have a program to be proud of yourselves. I am sure this will be one heck of a show.

Should be a great game.If anyone can beat Coldwater I think Patrick Henry can. Short story: I was sitting in my math class discussing high school football with a few people, we were talking about teams and PH came up. One of my class mates said well Patrick Henry is a good team this year. I agreed with him and then all the sudden I hear it. A kid from St. Henry said it.... those arrogant words " PH wouldn't do good against a MAC school" in fact he discredited PH all together in the mindset that to be a good HS football team you needed to be in the MAC. I just thought to myself how much BS that was. PH is a great team and people shouldn't count them out because they are not part of the "Almighty MAC". Good luck to both teams and have an injury free game. IMO this game should be played in the finals and not in the Semi's. The winner of this one is my favorite for the Division 5 title.

You won't find many true Coldwater fans taking this game for granted.

Rooting for Coldwater. I have been hoping to see a Coldwater/Ursuline matchup in the finals all year and now both teams are one game away from that happening.

Messy,

While I'm sure there are those that speak about the MAC that way, I assure you that the Cavaliers and their coaching staff have the utmost respect for PH. You don't get to this game if you don't respect the teams you will be playing. Now some may bring up the fact that playing in the MAC helps you. If it's stated in a respectful way then take it as it is, someone's opinion. If it is stated arrogantly like in your instance, then criticize the one that said it. With the success that the top MAC teams have had, it's hard to argue that playing them every year doesn't help a team prepare for the playoffs. This does NOT guarantee a victory. It merely points out that playing good teams have the potential to help you stay sharp. I hope for a hard fought game where the winner takes it all.

PH is a very good team not a great team this year, I think they run into a buzz saw in Coldwater. The size factor really plays a big difference in this one.

Ursuline is the odds on favorite by most people. Match-ups are made by geographic location. I picked Coldwater early on before the playoffs but they are making me nervous after needing OT two weeks in a row. They don't seem quite as dominate as in the recent past.

How healthy and "injury free" are the two teams? I suspect that PH plays more kids both ways and will also have a size disadvantge so they in particular will need "all hands on deck" in order to be competitive in this big game.

How many different schools are represented in your math class? "A kid from St. Henry said it.... those arrogant words " Looks like someone trying to start trouble.
