I figured. You sound like you know what you are talking about. Not only is it nice to have the local station weathermen, its also nice to have someone posting up to the minute details of when, where, and who needs to get somewhere quick.

Looks like the last few towns under the imminent gun is Marblehead and Kelley's Island.
I think it has calmed down enough to go to bed (most of the imminent danger is over Lake Erie)... best wishes to those in Wood and Ottawa Counties, and if any of you know people there be sure to check in on them and lend a helping hand if you can

My step-dad is a part time Police Officer on weekends for Kelley's Island, hope everything is fine with him. I'm sure he's busy as we speak.

So Blizzard Bill(WTVG-ABC Toledo) wasn't lying when he said it was a Category 1 Hurricane hitting us in NW Ohio?ts1227;380400 wrote:Houses are leveled in Milbury (extreme NE Wood County/Ottawa County) according to WTOL.
This would be the same alleged tornado that leveled the HS and killed 2 people.
WTOL estimated if it is in fact a tornado, we may be talking EF2-EF3 (111-165 MPH)...but that is PURE SPECULATION
Apparently some have been evacuated to a church

sounds like it was nuts last night. I went ahead and went to bed once I saw everything not dragging South to Central Ohio.
Looks like Lake Twp. got hammered

I live in Perrysburg (directly west of Lake) and that shit last night was insane. My friends dad is a storm chaser and he was even too scared to go out because there were so many cells making tornadoes. He didnt know while chasing one if hed get hit by another. My ex gf and HS friend had her barn in Millbury absolutely destroyed, luckily their house is ok. They have a small pond and I guess a bunch of the water was lifted out as it is about 2 feet lower than normal despite the rain.
Im about to be driving through Toledo for work today, and if I see anything worth posting Ill update. All I know is, last night was one of the first times I was legitimately scared during a storm. I was in my garage watching and then 3 houses down a tree was struck by lightning. That was enough for me lol.

One of the strongest tornado signatures I have seen in Ohio for the last few years. I hope you guys recover quickly up that way as more storms and this pattern sets back in.

I have a cousin who lives about 4 miles north of Kokomo, In. (abandoned airforce base town) and that town was hit. No damage to any of her property at all, thankfully.
I've just got a huge amount of leaves and branches scattered all throughout my yard.

Looks like Findlay was lucky last night as most storms were just a county or two north of us.
How that Lake can recover and have their ceremony soon.

5 confirmed deaths from last night. Lake HS is destroyed. A house a road away from mine was flattened last night. It got so bad that we had to leave the house and go my neighbors who have a basement. Millbury, OH was devastated. Many homes destroyed.

Confirmed tornado that ran through NW Ohio, still determining the level and strength of the tornado though.
Death toll at 5 and could be more.

Not sure about the power situation but I would imagine there would be still a few without power.

Just heard back, her family and their property was spared by about a mile and all is good with them, however several around them have been hit. My thoughts to all of you in that area!!
