[LEFT]Dear Ohio Chatter, I come to you today for some dating advice. I've always found that getting a first date is usually the easy part. Getting a second date has always seemed a bit tricky however. Not that I bomb the first date, but that I never really know how to proceed to ask a girl back out on a second date. I never know if I should try to set up a second date at the end of the first date if it goes well? Do I say I had a good time and hint that I'd like to go out again, but tell her to give me a call if she'd like to, and leave the ball in her court? Should I call her later to see if she wants to go out again? If so, how long do I wait to call her? One Day? Two Days? Three?

Please chatterers of Ohio, give me your wise advice as to the best way to go about securing the second date.

I prefer to bring it up at the end of the first date if you feel it went well. The whole waiting two days thing is BS. Just don't get drunk and ask her via text message. Speaking from experience, that usually doesn't go well!!

I've been on a few first dates in my years. The chances of a second date are usually pretty obvious before the first date is complete.

Be confident. On the first date, if you sense a fun relationship developing, tell her and back it up with reasons why... and don't just dwell on the physical reasons. Then tell her that you want to see her again at a specific place and time.

If she isn't into it, call her on it and ask why. Then use the experience with her to correct what you do with the next woman you ask out.

I've found that woman appreciate honesty. If you're open with her, she is more likely to be open with you.

My girlfriend Rose was very easy to convince for a second date. I just showed her a bottle of Jergens.

I usually bring it up at the end of the first date, but female friends have told me that girls think that can be awkward and too much pressure. Soooo, if I have a good time and sense she did too, I usually will hint at it, set up a day that I will call her, and then ask her when I do call her a couple of days later. That seems to be working pretty well.

I think a girl would take this as being way too abrasive and move a little fast. You don't want to talk about how you feel the "relationship" could be on the first date, there is no relationship yet.

Also, calling her out on why she isn't in to you is a kind of lame, pathetic action if you ask me. If you sense she's not that in to you, end the date. Both of you will be happier for it.

I don't see how it is that hard to land the second date. If you aren't dense and can sense she's in to you just let her know that you want to go out again sometime and you'll call her to make plans.

In reality, if you got the first date, that means she is into you, so as long as you didn't act awkward or weren't boring, you'll probably get the second date.
