Huge game Tuesday night, Lakers can put a strangle on this series or Phoenix can continue to make it interesting.

The Suns coaching staff came up with a solid game plan in game three now its the Lakers staff turn to find the answer.

The only way Phoenix has a shot is if both these things happen: Frye never warms up AND Odom can't supplant Bynum, who seems incapable of giving good minutes right now.
REASON: If you strictly by starting 5, Lakers are better. Suns NEED to have a bench advantage to consistently win. It took Amare to go for 40+ and Nash to have a 15/17 game for the Suns to win a CLOSE game at home. If Frye can start hitting shots, that helps their bench. If the Lakers can't consistently count on quality production from EITHER Bynum or Odom, that gives the Suns more help.
Personally, from watching the first three games, I can't see the series going to 7, let alone the Suns winning, but they at least still have hope. If they win Game 4, they'll at least put some legit pressure on the Lakers.

Lets see. Amare tied his career playoff high. Robin Lopez had 20 points. The Lakers have now had time to make a real adjustment to the zone. Lakers had 10 more turnovers. Lakers were 9 of 32 from 3. Odom and Artest played like shit and Bynum played 8 minutes. And the Suns won by 9.
I'll take the Lakers.

Oh and they only got a 4 point advantage as far as points in the paint are concerned in game 3.
Game 1 they had a 20 point advantage.
Game 2 they had an 8 point advantage.
But they still won game 2. So clearly the Suns adjustments were effective, but once they caught up with the Lakers you now have to wait and see what happens when the Lakers make their adjustment and realign their focus. Remember, a series doesn't really start until the road team wins.
Lakers by 13.

Finally the Suns are shooting the ball the way they did all season. Looks to me that this series has done a 180.
