Okay I do understand that the Lakers and Celtics still have some work to do in the Conference Finals, but this was an interesting question to me. A friend of mine, who is a Cavs fan, told me he would rather see Boston win, just so the Cleveland fans could say "atleast we lost to the Champs"..

Thoughts?

I hope that Staples implodes the first night.

Actually, I have no interest in the Finals, so I will probably just flip back and forth to check the scores.

I have to see if L.A. beats Phoenix tomorrow first. Because if the Suns win, then the series is 1-2 and they are right back in it. A lot different than being down 0-3 (Orlando).

I just hope for an entertaining series, as the playoffs have sucked so far.

I don't care honestly, but I think the Celtics are going to win it all. I just see "it" in their eyes and the way they're playing.

They look even better than they did in 2008.

If the Suns can rally and beat the Lakers, I will watch the Finals and root for them. If it is Lakers/Celtics, probably the only game I would watch would be a game 7. Other than that I couldn't care less about either team. Both teams are filled with players I can't stand.

I used to watch the Celtics of yester-year because they were the only opponent tne Lakers couldn't consistently defeat, and I developed a great fondness for the Celtics because I hated the Lakers so much. Today my hatred of the Lakers is still there and I have always liked anyone better than the boys from Hollywood, so I will be rooting again for the Celtics to defeat the Lakers.

Don't care either way, but mainly rooting for the Celtics since there are so many Kobe nut huggers.

absolutely can't stand the Celtics (or the magic as far as that goes), but on some level gotta admire the way they are playing. The way they are playing as a team now, with their "big 4" they are going to be a tough out for anybody. If they keep it at this level they will win it all. A rondo/nash matchup would be interesting, tho don't think it will happen.

i don't know. i'll have to see when i sit down to watch game 1. just sitting here thinking about it, i'm kinda thinking kobe and the lake show.
