Leaving Lincoln in for 3 innings, just so he could qualify for a save is fucking stupid.
Using Owings as a Pinch Hitter instead of Rolen or Heisey, just because Owings is from Atlanta is fucking stupid.
Not replacing Nix with Heisey and OCab with Janish as late inning defensive replacements is fucking stupid.
Pulling the best reliever the team has (Rhodes) in a pressure situation is fucking stupid.
Dusty is fucking stupid.

Seriously fuck this game. And fuck the whole bullpen. That was embarrassing. Fucking pretenders. 8 run lead and lets fucking play around and commit 4 fucking errors even though we're the best defensive team in the National League. Fuck the defense, fuck the bullpen, fuck Dusty, and fuck the offense for putting it on cruise control after the 2nd. This team isn't hungry to win, they think its fucking owed to them. They should be embarrassed, cuz I sure as hell am. Its only one game. One game that exposed the bullpen. One game that dropped us out of first place. One game where we showed we aren't as good as we've been playing.

What the fuck, the team melted down, why can't I?!

I was just STARTING to enjoy the Reds.....now this is just 1 game.......beating the Cardinals in thrilling fashion and the supporters were amuck......that game and today are simply 1 game and have equaled each other out......the key is how will the Reds repond in their next game.

Glad to see the best defensive 3B of the past 15 years didn't get inserted in the 9th. Cairo looked good.


Dusty has always had trouble on when to pull a pitcher....he's still Dusty and it'll take a lot more than 2 good weeks to change that with me.

There should have been NO WAY, SHAPE, or FORM that the Reds lost this game. Oh wait, that form, shape and way is Dusty "Worst Manager in Baseball" Baker.,

Oh obviously credit is definitely due to the Braves for sticking together and battling back. Hats off no doubt. Didn't mean my post to sound like that.

But when the Reds have a back end of the bullpen like they have had this year, there is no way(IMO) a 6 run lead should ever be in question.

I know, I was just joking. I agree I thought the game was over in the 2nd inning when Hanson failed to get Leake to end the inning. With Leake on the mound and the Brave's getting completely shut down at times by a hot pitcher, it didn't look good at all.

This was playing in Reds clubhouse following the game.

Not to mention the 3 outs that could have been had with good plays that each ended up being a run, culminated with what could have been close to being ruled a four base error with no RBIs to end the game.

I have second-guessed his decision-making all year long, but I am not going to do that today. What I thnk is more telling, is the fact that this fool won't even focus on the real problem. Either he is completely brain-dead and doesn't realize how big a problem the 9th inning meltdown was or he thinks everybody else is stupid enough to believe the bovine fecal matter that he his spewing.

Still upset about this game. They better win 8 of 10 of these next games...They are playing 3 of the 4 worst teams in the league. Pitt is -101 in run diff, Houston -68 and Cle -42.

While that is true, it should not be the manager's focus after a complete disaster of a ninth. The way they played that inning, I could have seen the Braves scoring 15. When you have an epic failure like their ninth, nobody cares about some errors in the third and fifth innings. It looks like ignorance or denial. Both are unacceptable.

In a long season you will have these games go for you and go against you.......it's the response the next days that matters and thus far this group has answered as needed.


More of this stull will happen.....they have to continue to answer better than the other crappy teams of the NL Central.
