They could make their moves, but nobody will care. Without LBJ in Cleveland, it will turn into the Bucks. Solid team, but nobody really pays any attention.

i think mike brown should be gone regardless. i'm not sure who can coach this team to a championship, but i don't think it's that guy.

I mean for Christ's sake, they refused to give up JJ for Amare and he had like 5 minutes of PT in the last game. what good does JJ do on the fucking bench for 40+ minutes???

I'm not talking about making a move, just to make a move. I'm talking about improving your roster. Big difference.

What moves has Ferry made over the last couple years that has improved the roster? I thought the Parker signing was solid, but the guy is an average NBA player. Lebron is on an island by himself, with a bunch of average NBA players on the roster.

I said earlier in the year that if you put Lebron on New Jersey's team this year, they are better than Cleveland, and I believe that.

Brook Lopez > Shaq and Z
Jianlian < Jamison (but Jianlian is younger with more potential)
Courtney Lee < Parker
Devin Harris > Mo Williams

He could never handle playing second bill in L.A though (it will always be a Lakers town) so that won't happen. OKC doesn't have room for a max deal if I am not mistaken. NY's roster is a disaster and 2 max free agents would cripple their ability to add anything, Miami will also be lacking once D-Wade and Lebron would eat up their cap, NJ is a mess, and I don't see Lebron ever going to Chicago as no matter what he did there it would still always be Jordan people first thought of when you say Chicago Bulls...and Lebron has a healthy ego to maintain when it comes to that kind of stuff.

I don't really see a great fit for him out there, but I also have a hard time seeing him in Cleveland next year if they don't at least make the finals.

Wade and LBJ wouldn't eat all of Miami's cap up. If they got LBJ, they'd trade Beasley's 4.9M just for capspace to get 2-3 role/bench players. I havn't said he's going to Miami, but with each passing day I get a bit more excited about the idea. If he goes, I think they have a great shot at a dynasty, depending on how they fill the roster. I also think he's have great success with the Clippers, but I don't know about any rings until I see the rookie play.

I think this series' outcome will have little effect on his decision. of course the people who are right will not see it that way.

I think he stays regardless. I think the cavs FA and trade activity depends heavily on the outcome of this series. If he leaves I hope he goes to NJ and they get Wall, only because I think that team would be fun as hell to watch.

I totally agree with you regarding the Clippers situation:
Assuming Blake Griffin is not crippled by his injury, you put Lebron on that team with him, B-Diddy, Eric Gordon, Kaman and whoever they draft in the lottery this year and that would be a potent team immediately, and Davis is the oldest of the group at only 31 so they would have a good sized window in which to build a contender.

For the reason I said it won't happen, but Lebron would be foolish to not at least consider it if his goal is to win many titles as there is not a better foundation out there (including in Cleveland) for him to do so.

All those players you mentioned are a bit overrated. Still, with LBJ, they battle the Lakers for a championship. They'd beat anybody in the east.

Bump? Lebron should be embarrassed of his performance tonight, but he can't feel good about his supporting cast at all at this point.

It's pathetic that Cavs fans actually think that Ferry and the management have built a "championship team" around Lebron. This roster is so bad they might not win 20 games next year if Lebron leaves.

Hey put the blame where it belongs...everywhere. Lebron has only shown up in about 1 game in the series. I am sure it is his elbow. He needs to get mentally tougher.

Because of what he said when he came here. He promised a title for Cleveland. He promised to build a championship team.

He has failed to do so so far, and even so the fans here always have his back in everything.

If he was to leave, it would be a smack in the face to Cleveland and the sports scene within the city. Right now, LeBron IS Cleveland. He's the only hope we have to get us to the promised land of a pro sports championship.

So yeah, if he leaves, he lied, he turned his back, and he quit on us.
