Try Encore, not a steak house, but hands down the best restuarant in Toledo now that The Restuarant and Matthews have closed. Basically J Wesley's after a short recess...

Best steak I have had was at Craft Steak in Vegas.

I feel like this thread topic reappears once a month haha.

To rehash, Peter Luger, period. Nothing comes close. Have eaten at some of the best steakhouses across the country, and Peter Luger in Brooklyn is the top dog.

Of the options available, I'd go with Lone Star (I like peanuts!)
But if you want a really good steak with home style care, go to La Piazza in Troy, Oh... Absolutely fantastic!

I've never eaten at Peter Luger but I have been to Sparks. How do they compare? Obviously you indicate Luger is better but I was just curious how they matched up. Next time I am in Brooklyn I will have to go there.
