Pujols double drives in a run 2-1 STL. That will be the last batter for Homer who threw 121 pitches here comes Fisher out of the pen.

Bailey had a nice day. Giving up 2 runs against St. Louis is a great outing. I do love how the Reds announcers go out of their way to try and knock down the perception that Dusty is a pitcher killer. As they were removing Bailey, Welsh said he "hoped that that people didn't get upset that Bailey hit 120 pitches...that's nothing!" Any time Leake or Bailey pitches you can be sure that a Reds annoucer will try and debunk the fact that Kerry Wood, Mark Pyror, and Edinson Volquez have all had arm troubles while playing for him.
(I don't believe 120 pitches was too many for Bailey)

Especially with Holliday sucking 0-3 today.
Hernandezs ball looked like a fair ball to me.

it simply IMO depends on the 120 pitches....under duress......Maddux effort.....John Rocker-like

quite honestly....I fell asleep with my lovely sinus infection and missed about 5 innings....so I really can't comment on this game.
