I'd take Jamison, JJ and Andy over him right now.

Of course, that is based on the knowledge I have now--I have no idea how well Noah would compliment LeBron, which could certainly make him better. But it's a false notion that EVERY player will be better along side LeBron.
You'd take JJ Hickson over Noah? Interesting.

Yep, I think he has a higher ceiling. He doesn't get the minutes to really show out with the Cavs, but you saw the damage he was able to do as a starter this season.

Not sure that'd be any better than the team he is on now.
If they got a serviceable center, that team would be a lot better than the one he has now. Rose/Noah are killers, and Ray Allen does nothing bit hit big shots.

May not put up in the regular season numbers, but yea, that's a team built for the play-offs.

Jamison has been and still is very solid. Noah isn't better than him overall.

I'll give Noah over JJ and Noah over AV offensively, but I still like AV's defense right now over Noah's.

You wouldn't rather have Noah than any of the Cavs bigs? If for no other reason than that he actually showed up in the postseason, he's better.

In his series against the Cavs he averaged 14.8 ppg, 13 rpg, and shot 53% from the field.

While going against Noah, the Cavs bigs did the following:
Jamison: 19.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 51%
Varejao: 5.2 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 37%
Hickson: 2.0 ppg, .4 rpg, 60%

Jamison's numbers were better, but he's older and if starting a team, you take Noah over him.

We NEVER put a body on him. And his team lost 4-1. Yawn.

I like it. Gives us another expiring to throw in or Powe could actually contribute this year.

I also think the Cavs take a look at Randy Foye. Since Washington got the #1 pick, Foye may be the odd man out. I believe he's a RFA, but I don't think Washington would bother matching.

Foye can shoot the rock and he's an above average defender at the 1.

Yeah I think Roye may be gone. I'd like to see my Heat pick him up. Eh, I take that back. He'd cost a bit too much for Miami's plan. If it fails, it might make sense.

Bosh has "given" Toronto a wish list of 4 teams (Bulls, Knicks, Lakers, and Heat) he'd like to be traded to if he doens't sign back. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66725/20100521/bosh_gives_raptors_wish_list/

The Sixers are possibly willing to deal the #2 pick if a team takes Elton Brand. That could get interesting. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66717/20100521/sixers_willing_to_trade_2nd_pick_with_brand/

Would not at all be surprised to see Jent get the job because the only way he would is if LeBron signed off on it. And I could see LeBron signing off on that.

Its been known that if LeBron leaves Cleveland so will Jent.

Jent travels with LeBron for the majority of the off season working on his shooting.

So the Cavs fired Mike Brown to hire his assistant?

I understand how tight Lebron and Jent are, but this just doesn't make sense. You want a coach who isn't a "yes sir" to Lebron, and that's exactly what Jent would be.

Oh yeah, Jent works for LeBron--the pay check from the Cavs was just icing on the cake and a way for him to build his own resume.

No, but he is in the running possibly, a very slim possibility. Jent is very good at what he does and has the respect of LeBron. But this is coming from the Chicago Sun, so I doubt it.

I don't think he is a "yes" man to LeBron at all. LeBron went to him for help, not the other way around. Obviously LeBron is listening to what Jent is saying and not just doing what he wants.

thedynasty--all you do is disagree with everything said. Since your basketball intellect overshadows ours, why don't you give us a little more insight than you do?
