Both good defensively. That isn't close?

Like I said, I'd take Pujols too, but you can't go wrong with either. And it isn't like the Phillies haven't won with Howard.

SQ, give me OPS, OPB, Ks, SBs, VORP, H, and TB

I have no clue what they look like, but I can only imagine that Albert blows Howard out of the water in Ks, OBP and OPS

I also want to point out that until last half of the year(Holliday), Pujols had nobody while Howard has Utley and Rollins, and to a lesser extent Victorino.

I mean, you can look them up yourself. Like I've said 3 or 4 times now, I'd take Pujols. But give Howard the credit he deserves--he doesn't get enough because people see Albert's face all over the TV.

Oh he is great, I just happen to think that he is no where near Pujols. I would look them up but I am about to go eat dinner. Maybe I will tonight.

Id say he is the 4th best 1B in the game.

Pujols for sure simply because of the much higher average, fewer K's, higher OBP, and is better defensively. Howard is good but Pujols is just better at this point.

It just a personal preference for the last 3 players.

I like the average and switch hitting ability Tex brings. If we are talking about the actual question (for the next 5 years) Id take Prince because of his youth over both Howard and Tex.

I agree with Bobby Cox, that Pujols is worth twice as much as Howard. If Howard is worth $25 mil a year, then Albert is worth $50 mil!

No player is worth 50 million a year.

Only way you'd be worth 50 million a year would be if you were an everyday player, gold glover, put up the best power numbers ever and hit over .500.

Good job, you picked the guy who had to retire before his time due to a deadly illness and died at the age of 37. His last year and a half of his career he played through the symptoms of his disease which brought his numbers down.

My apologies to everyone for not just picking the current best player in baseball and crowning him the best of all time. I know a tad more about baseball than that to have that sort of myopic opinion. But please, ridicule me for being "old school", if that means I know what I'm talking about and you guys don't.
