Hoover struggled, that game was in doubt until the very end when they tacked one on late. They trailed most of the game.

As for my Polar Bears, well I'm fairly disappointed. The defense left a lot to be desired with little things like tackling, wrapping up and tackling. The offense moved the ball very well and should have scored more points, as they had two drives end inside the 5 yard line.

Good Luck tomorrow to the Bulldogs, let's go 7-1 to start the year!

Just returned home from the McK game....Wow, they looked good. Total domination, I sat with people from Tennessee, they were nice, but they were VERY confident....Not cocky....confident. I can't remember the guys exact words, but it was basically, "Ohio football is nice, but in Tennessee, it's a religion", I just said, you're not too familiar with Ohio football are you. He got pretty quite after 1 quarter.

No, if you notice, I sat with Tennessee people, but last year when McK played GlenOak at PBTS, and McK fans sat on our home side, I did help disinfect our bleachers.

No, I didn't, but since I assume that you READ those announcements, when you combine READING, and the fact that you went to McKinley....Well, that's just a recipe for disaster.

From what I saw last night, you might want to change that to, "look out STATE." No kidding.

Well heck then, lets just cancel the rest of the season, and give McK the hardware now. SMH

Saves time and money.

Good grief man, Im beginning to wonder who you really cheer for.

Why would you want to demolish the best stadium in the state?

And as for you....admitting that McKinley is a damn good football team doesn't mean that I'm cheering for them now, I know you're kidding but, if they had played Massillon this week, I'd say something like McKinley 50 something Massillon 7.

LOL.

Well, lets hope that Massillon has righted the ship, and come week ten, McK is grasping for air, from our choke hold we will have them in!!! :D

But, we also need to take it week by week.

9-1 still gets a playoff spot in Reg. 2. :D

Week 2 Federal League Match-ups:

Boardman @ Cardinal Mooney
Fitch @ Poland
Massillon @ GlenOak
Louisville @ Hoover
Akron East @ Jackson
Hudson @ Lake
McKinley vs. Huber Hts. Wayne (in C-Bus)
Central Catholic @ Perry

This week will almost certainly not go as well as last week for Fed teams. I can see a possibility for Hoover, Boardman, Glenoak, McKinley and Jackson to all lose. I'm not saying they all will, but those games seem to be toss-ups at best (well hopefully Jackson isn't :)).

Last week before Fed competition begins (sort-of).

H.H. did beat us last year. but i think it'll be a different story this year... im thinking we can pull this one out in a close game if we contain Braxton Miller.... but our defense usually is pretty good... and skank you know that what you sat in on Saturday night is the best high school stadium in the nation =)... either way Go Bulldogs!!!

How many fed titles has McK won ?
The league seems pretty well balanced . What does Hoover have this year ? Is McK strong ?
I guess if we are picking let me take a shot in the dark . Boardman .Lake . Austintown. McK. Hoover. Perry. Jackson.

Not making any prediction grodt, but when is the last time that Jackson had the best chance at winning non conference game for the Fed....Even if only on paper.

Ok, here's my prediction

Mooney beats Boardman
Poland beats Fitch
Massillon beats GlenOak
Louisville beats Hoover
Jackson beats East
Lake beats Hudson
McKinley beats Wayne
Perry beats Central

It's been awhile since Jackson was favored in a game that's for sure. With Perry they have the best/easiest games this week.

As for your predictions, the only ones I disagree with is I think Fitch can beat Poland.
