End of two crazy periods and it's 3-1 Ottawa. Pens came on strong in that period by picking up the hitting and activating the defensmen to cheat on the play. The third period should be a dandy.

OT again as at the end of regulation we're tied at 3 a piece. Pens made a huge surge in that third period to get a chance to win and close this series out.

Pittsburgh has to come out with the same intensity the showed in the third period, do that and they win. Still think Malkin's going to play a role in this.

Beautiful.
Nice work by Eaton battling on that final play and Staal with the pass.
That was a terrific team win all the way around, after falling behind 3-0.
Cooke was an animal, obviously.
And Guerin with a key goal. I did say before the series he'd have to bury a few and he had a good third period and overtime.

Who knows how far the Pens will go this year but if they did go on to win the cup again, that's one of those games they make a big deal about on the championship DVD.
The team was down 3-0 on the road but they stuck together and rallied.

After losing in 3OT two days ago, the Pens were far stronger down the stretch down the stretch tonight. That game showed the worst and the best of the Pens. Worst being the first 30+ minutes where Ottawa looked tougher, like they wanted it more and like they were looking to put up something like an 8-0 win to have ALL the momentum heading back to Pittsburgh. Best being how they roared back to send it to overtime and pulled out the win. That's how they'll need to be to beat teams like Washington.
