End of the first OT. These refs have been horrible both ways. They've called some horrific penalties and let blatant ones go. I just hope this game is decided by the refs. Fleury keeping the Pens in this game, he made some outstanding saves in that OT.

Both teams are more cautious this OT. They almost seem to be more saving energy and not making mistakes.
Still, good stuff. I love OT playoff hockey.

To the 3rd OT they go. Nearly all of the players look exhausted.

I'm exhausted just watching this!

I've got the game on CBC. Pgh has 15 more shots on goal. This game should be over.

a lot of big saves and great defensive plays and blocked shots

what the playoffs are all about

would've been nice to close it out though

I thought the Penguins didn't play as physical as they did in games 1,2,3 and 4, they let Ottawa just enter their zone without making them pay. Need to win tomorrow night and get this thing over with, the Pens have played a ton of hockey the last two years and fatigue's going to be a factor, wish they could have won last night and started that nice rest period.

I also thought that Malkin and Ponikarovsky are starting to gel, they made some fantatstic plays together last night and came oh so close to scoring a bunch of goals. Look out for that line, I got a feeling they're going to explode.

Game day, puck drops at 7PM in Ottawa. FYI, Sidney Crosby leads the post season scoring race with 14 points in only five games. You know Sid is going to be Sid but I'm expecting big things from Malkin's line tonight.

Its time to turn up the heat!!!!

They need to get back to the way they played in games 2, 3, and 4. You would think a few days off would be motivation enough...

I hope your right... Starting to get anxious for the puck drop.

Nashville just scored to tie up 3-3 with 16 min. left in the 3rd. I'm pulling for Nashville in this one simply because Marion Hossa plays for Chicago.

Couple keys to get this thing done tonight........Pens have to withstand Ottawa's opening onslaught, they need to score the first goal and they need to blast everything that moves, they let up in the hitting department in game five. I also believe Malkin's line will explode tonight, they played so well in game five that they are on the verge of breaking loose.

Crosby is just three points shy of Lemieux's record of 17 points scored in a series.

1-0 Ottawa. Pens give a break away goal to Cullen. This is not good!

I can see the Sens winning this game, but honestly think the Pens who won the cup last year will show up to seal it.
Not good so far, but just the 1st period.

End of the period, 1-0 Ottawa.

I thought Rupp had a goal but the review didn't give conclusive evidence. Pens look sluggish again and need to pick up the pace here in the second period. LeClaire will eventually crack. Maybe they can get a lift by killing the rest of this penalty to start the second period. I still think Malkin's line will have a say in this game tonight.

FYI, Fedotenko is a healthy scratch and the Pens called up Chris Connor to replace him.

Well, unless the Pens turn into the Caps and score three goals soon, this series is going back to Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh's in trouble, now down 3-0. Alfredsson and his big nose scores on another deflected puck that went right to his stick.

No panic, Pens were down 3-0 last year in Philly and stormed back to win and end that series.
