No they're not. There's no new allegations or comments, the cops and GBI had this info the entire time, you even mention that in your post.

Florio is a hack and his deceptive style is why people hit his site.

I'll remind all of you one more time, all these statements you keep reading from the police report are not seen as actual facts.

ewok, I'm with you on the alleged victim........one would think she would be screaming and struggling to a get away from him if she was raped. None of that is evident.

Also, I find it amazing that this girl can remember all these details the day after, she was totally blasted that night.......anyone see her handwriting on the written statements she provided? Check out this link, pages 1 and 2 are from the next day, pages 3 and 4 are from the night of the alleged incident, you tell me if there isn't a big difference:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2010/0415101roethlisberger1.html#theLink

wow she mustve been hammered that handwriting is jacked up compared to the next day.
Funny how the media doesn't run with that info. They know they can't sell papers and get site hits with it.

I forgot the not lol.

It comes down to this. Ben may or may not have committed a crime. Its almost pointless to go to trial against him with little to no physical evidence. He said she said cases never turn out well especially when that he is an celebrity. Doesn't mean he didn't commit the crime, but we'll see how much he settles with her out of civil court.

Ben will be suspended and he should for his careless actions.

This was already investigated and it was determined there wasn't enough physical evidence to prove rape beyond a reasonable doubt.

It's not even he said/she said, it's just she said and she was plastered.

That's BS.

It is a classic case of he/she said.

Of course it wouldn't be he/she said case if there was ample amount of PE. Thats the main reason why these cases arise and are not sent to a jury/bench trial.

It's still mind boggling to me. I just don't understand how you can just decide not to pursue the case anymore.

It is he/she said, I was just putting a colorful spin on it. Ben hasn't been interviewed about it other than the night, I don't believe. Not in as much detail.

Its actually not that uncommon in sexually oriented cases.

Some victims would rather forget and move on.

Mostly what the public is getting the past few days is from the girls' perspective and they were barhopping all night and intoxicated. And girls that age are certainly capable of making the story up, adding drama to it, after they sober up and try to piece it together.

or she was just embarassed that she banged a guy in a bathroom at a bar when she was really drunk and tried to save face. Like I posted a few pages ago, I knew a guy who had the exact same allegations brought against him (except it was in a frat house bathroom not a bar). Her side of the story was eerily similar to this one. Right before his trial, she confided in a friend that "I just couldn't let people know that I actually had sex with HIM, in a fucking bathroom, i had to come up with something'. The friend went to the DA and the case was dropped after they got the confession out of the girl.

You're a fucking idiot. It's obvious from the rest of that post that he simply forgit to write not, but you in all your supposed intelligence had to point it out and act like you were telling us something profound....haha

Its funny to see some people blame the girl for getting so drunk that she could be taken advantage of. Guess what, a girl should be able to blackout buttass naked in the middle of mens rr and not have anyone touch her. what kind of fucking pig lays hands on a girl near the point of blacking out!???!?! If that's the only way you can get ass then kill yourself...

If you think Roethlisrapist didn't violate this girl in some way you are in denial.....

I would be surprised if you even see anything filed in civil court on this matter. I'm sure a release of claims has been signed and paid off by now. If not, discussions are definitely in the works.

You know I have been on Ben ever since this happened but now that everything has come to light I blame the girl. In her statement she said Ben exposed himself then took her in the bathroom, she told him no then they had sex. Her statement didn't say Ben then raped me it said he then had sex with me......ok.......

I still think Ben is a thug but any woman who gets falling down drunk sais no but has sex anyway it is all on her. Women can be so stupid. She probably wouldn't even have went to the cops if it weren't for her friends. That is what I thought all along is that her friends are the ones who encouraged her to go to the police. She asked the detectives not pursue charges. She knew what she did.

Time to move on....only thing left out there that might remotely surprise me is that Peyton Manning turns up at an all night x-rated movie house having sex with pee wee herman.:s
