Plus Smoltz has a 24 win season and 5x over 200K.....ascot HOF he had incredible postseason performances to put him over the top

Well, Don Sutton might qualify.....but I can't believe he would have only had 1 season with over 200 K's.

Sutton won 21 one year and was 5x over 200

I'm about to give up........unless maybe Satchel Paige? Nawww....he didn't win 20 games in a season......in the majors.

It is post 1960
Im proud of this question 😁
There are two really good guesses remaining and still need the answer.

Well, one I am thinking about is Bert Blyleven, but I'm sure he had more than one season of over 200 K's.

So, I scoured the HOF list using the 1960 clue..............I'm going to take a shot at Greg Maddux

Yep!
Strike shortened years got him 2x....would’ve had a couple 22 win seasons likely and had 199, 198, 197 K......5x won 19, stuck on 20
Was decent though

Blyleven 8x over 200

Is it OK to look at the hall of fame list of names for answer ideas, or is that kinda not legit?

He went 19-19 with 29 CG for the Tribe and was responsible for winning 27% of the teams games.

Good lord. No wonder he threw a spitball. I'd be looking to get myself suspended too, just for the arm rest. ;)

Based on that clue, I’m going with Robin Roberts.
