A lot of negativity on this board, so I thought I would change it up and list my favorite individual teams, moments, and player.

Cleveland Indians : 1995 and Albert Belle is my all time favorite.
Cleveland Cavaliers : All the Price/Ehlo/Nance years and Mark Price is my favorite Cav.
Cleveland Browns : The late 80's teams and Hanford Dixon was my favorite Browns player.

List yours.

Indiana Pacers: Reggie Miller. No one will ever overtake him in terms of professional athletes. He's my favorite all-time. The 1998 season was one of the most fun I've ever had watching a favorite team of mine. That team should have won it all. Reggie's shot over Jordan at Market Square is still one of the most thrilling moments of my life as a fan.

Miami Dolphins: My Dad was a huge Dolphins fan when I was growing up, so naturally I fell in love with Dan Marino and Abdul Karim al-Jabbar growing up. Many forget how good a player al-Jabbar was, but that's probably because he disappeared just as quickly. wes can probably attest to that. Not many fond memories of the greatest pure quarterback of all-time, however, in January.

The entire 95 season by the Indians was my favorite moment. The team had sucked my whole life and finally we were loaded. The come from behind victories were amazing and seemed like they happened at least once a week.

My favorite Browns moment was just going to Municipal Stadium as a child and watching guys like Webster Slaughter, Reggie Langhorne, Bernie, and watching the people in the "real dawgpound".

My favorite Cavs moment was going to the 2007 ECF game 6 with my son. He had is picture in the Plain Dealer the next day....completely awesome photo of him at fan fest and around 50000 people behind him with the Jake as the backdrop. He was running up and down the aisles slapping hands with strangers and having the time of his life. It was like Mardi Gras in the city afterwards. I have never seen that city so alive.

Hopefully you will get a new one when the Cavs win it all this season.

You really think the Pacers should have won it over the Bulls that season?

Yes. The Pacers had a 12-point fourth quarter lead on the Bulls in Game Seven at the United Center. That's when the "Last Dance" stuff started happening.

Indiana had the better team overall. Reggie, Mark Jackson, Jalen Rose, Rik Smits, Chris Mullin, Dale Davis, Antonio Davis, Travis Best, Derrick McKey and rookie Austin Croshere. Completely loaded. Honestly, even with Pippen and Jordan, the Bulls had no business winning that series.

New Orleans Saints- Sunday February 7th 2010, Favorite Player Sam Mills or Drew Brees. I loved that whole linebacking core of Mills, Swilling, HOF Rickey Jackson and Vaughan Johnson.

Cleveland Cavaliers-Lebron's series vs the Pistons. Unbelievable. And watching Brad Daugherty with Authority.

Cleveland Indians-Favorite time, Mid 90's. So disappointing that none of those teams won a World Series. Favorite Player Kenny Lofton.

Ohio State- Football- Obviously NC game vs Miami and Bball- Watching Jimmy Jackson play

Favorite moment: Since I was too young (7) to really remember the World Series in '90 I'd have to say when they traded for Griffey. What could have been if not for his health.
Favorite player: Barry Larkin

Steelers

Super Bowl XLIII
2008 AFC Championship
2005 Divisional Playoff Game at Indianapols
2004 Divisional Playoff game vs. Jets
2002 Wild Card Game vs. Browns

Went to all these games.

Pirates

1990-1992

Great times. Went to about 50 games during this period. Usually sat in the yellow outfield seats in right field at Three Rivers. That stadium was terrible for baseball except the crowd noise when it was a big game or the Pirates were about to get the final out.

Penguins

2009 Stanley Cup Finals Game 7

Those final minutes were unbelievable with Detroit putting shots on Fleury and the Pens trying to hold 'em off.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Lemieux's entire career, Game 7, 2009 Playoffs.

(I tear up every time watching this)

Pittsburgh Steelers: Super Bowl 40, Santonio Holmes catch.

Pittsburgh in general: City of champs 2009

Ohio State: Evey moment I've ever witnessed.

As a Red Wings fan, I didn't think there was a chance of the Wings losing after they completely dominated Game 5, winning 5-0. I think they left it all there in Game 5. The Pens earned that championship in game 6 and 7. Nothing will ever convince me that the Penguins were better than the Red Wings that year, but they certainly deserved and earned that title.

Now the Wings are a shell of what they were.

Steelers: The most recent Super Bowl. I was too young to remember anything happening in the 70s, and due to the financial issues I had thanks to my ex, I had to listen to their win over the Seahawks on the radio, as opposed to watching it. The win over the Cardinals, I got to fully experience with a close friend (who, while not a Pittsburgh fan, was at least kind enough to be happy for my happiness).

Penguins: The back-to-back Mario-Jagr championships in the early 90s. It'd be AWESOME if Crosby-Malkin can duplicate that this year.

Pirates: Those early-90s years where I at least had hope they could pull things out in the NLCS.

Cleveland Browns: 2007 season. Browns unexpectedly win 7 of 8 home games and finish season 10-6. Walking out of that stadium almost every Sunday with a W was awesome. Probably only time since the new Browns that CBS rocked.
Favorite Player: Eric Metcalf

Cleveland Cavaliers: Probably May 2003. Watching the Draft Lottery and realizing the Cavs had probably saved the franchise by getting the lucky bounce of the ping pong balls. Also 2007 ECF, especially LBJ going off for 29 of Cavs last 30 points in game 5 at Detroit.
Favorite Player: Mark Price

Cleveland Indians: So many. 1995, Manny's "wow" walk-off against Eckersly. Belle walk-off against Lee Smith. Lofton scores from 2nd on wild pitch against Mariners in ALCS, etc.
1997 - Sandy Alomar Jr wins ASG MVP, then huge homer off Mariano in ALDS. Tony Fernandez homer against O's in ALCS. Jaret Wright and Chad Ogea pitch their ass off in World Series against Marlins.
Favorite Pitcher: Charles Nagy
Favorite Player: Omar Vizquel / Carlos Baerga

The final three minutes of game seven may have been the most white knuckle moment for a fan of either team ever:

Cincinnati Reds
Best Moment: October 20, 1990 - In Game 4 of the World Series, the Reds finish off a sweep of the highly favored Oakland Athletics to complete a wire-to-wire season that surprised everybody in baseball. I was 13 and nothing was bigger in my world than the Reds. (A close second was listening to Tom Browning's perfect game on the radio on September 16, 1988.)
Favorite Player: Paul O'Neill

Cleveland Browns
Best Moment: September 12, 1999: The Browns return to the NFL after having been stolen from the league's best fan-base by greedy and incompetent former owner Art Modell and the POS city of Baltimore. Bitersweet because of the 43-0 thumping by the Steelers, but at long last, we have our team back.
Favorite Player: Bernie Kosar

Ohio State Buckeyes - Football
Best Moment: January 3, 2003: Ohio State completes a perfect 14-0 season beating the highly favored Miami Hurricanes in one of the most exciting BCS championship games in history. (This game gets sweeter every time I hear someone whine about the pass interference call.)
Favorite Player: Eddie George

Ohio State Buckeyes - Basketball
Best Moments: Anytime Jimmy Jackson took the floor for the Buckeyes. I don't have any one specific memory, but a collection of great games and moments involving him.
Favorite Player: Jimmy Jackson

Columbus Blue Jackets
Favorite Moment: Clinching a spot in the playoffs last year. (You gotta start somewhere.)
Favorite Player: Jody Shelley

Chicago White Sox

The 2005 season that was capped with a World Series Championship.

Watching the 9th inning of game 4 in Houston was something I never thought I would see and when Juan Uribe made the catch he did for the 2nd out I knew something special was going on.
