I don't think winning the Championship matters as much as you think, I think it matters most to him whether the front office is doing what is needed to win a Championship.

Ya, I dont understand at all why he would leave Cleveland to go somewhere like the Knicks/Nets. Then it would just be starting over having to wait 3-4 years before they really have a chance at winning a title. His chances are the best in Cleveland unless he goes to some other team that is actually good.

If they don't win the championship, and don't make a move. I'd put the odds of him staying at 85%. I believe they'll have a bit of money to get some younger bigs. I've always thought a big factor will be LBJ looking at the old bigs around him and knowing they won't be along for the ride the next half decade, and knowing they don't have the money to get some. But I imagine the FO will take care of that, if they already havn't.

If the clippers can realistically get him and keep gordon and griffin, that's his best chance for winning IMO.

I don't think he has any intentions of leaving Cleveland. The only reason I could see him leaving is that he may want to move his business(LRMR) to a more globally recognizable city, so it can grow.

I've heard the Nets have this little plan..

In a nutshell, they are praying to keep Harris, draft John Wall, trade Harris for Kevin Martin. A lineup of Wall, Martin, LeBron and Lopez isn't too shabby.

Agree with the posters who have said it's not about whether they win or not... but whether the front office is giving it their all to get him a championship.

I hope he stays but I honestly have NO idea what he will do and I am not into making that kind of prediction. I've always been of the opinion that if he wants to win he will stay. Why go to a terrible team and have to start all over? Just doesn't make sense to me. Not only that, the Cavs can give him the most money. To me, those outweigh the benefits of being in NY or the like.

Next year the Nets will have Harris, a top 4 pick, Lopez, Yi, some young bench players, cap room to sign LeBron and another $10-12 million guy (like Boozer), and their mid level exception. Combine that with Jay Z and Brooklyn and he is gone.

I doubt he leaves, but if he does, there are only two places I see him going-- Miami or New Jersey. Jersey has what it takes to attrack some people, even though they suck (odd). Lopez is the next great center, and all those players know it will help them a lot. Let alone if they draft Wall. If LBJ went to the Nets, they would immediately become a home court playoff team, and possibly a lot more than that. But still, it'll take one hell of a salesman to get LBJ away from Cleveland. Not saying it can't be done.

I don't see him leaving regardless. There's nothing he can do in any other city that he hasn't or can't do in Cleveland. This has been proven already throughout his career. As for the Nets "core", if they were THAT good they would have won more than 4 games by now. Obviously you take LeBron off the Cavs and they are a much worse team but I'd bet my life that they'd win more than 4 games by now. The Nets won't be in Brooklyn for at least another 3-4 years MAYBE. I doubt LeBron wants to be in NJ for that long. In Cleveland he has his friends and family, a fanbase that considers him a savior, a more lucrative contract, plus his legacy is better for staying in the same city. Also he has a front office and owner willing to do what it takes to win a championship. I just don't see a logical reason for LeBron leaving Cleveland. 20 years ago, yes....but in the new age of technology LeBron is already a world icon playing in lowly ol' Cleveland Ohio.

Championships have everything to do with it.

He will not stay in Cleveland to just get to the Eastern Conference Finals.

He wants to win multiple championships like MJ and Kobe.

If the Cavs do not win this year I would bet he is gone.

I completely disagree.

Right now:
Mo Williams > Eric Gordon
JJ Hickson/Varejao > Griffin (he hasn't set foot on a court yet, and who knows if he'll ever fully recover)

I also wouldn't put it past the Cavs to acquire someone like Jamison at the break who is also better than Griffin.

So no, the Clippers don't give him the best chance to win, IMO.
