Negative. The current site will live on in a read-only state, so you can still view the history of the site. But I'm not migrating old stuff over to the new site. New site, fresh database.

As I mentioned in the previous thread, I can eventually add the ability to customize your own color scheme for the site. But unless I'm provided with specific color changes that I agree improve the site, it's launching in its current form.

Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. Is there a feature that allows you to view only threads with unread posts? I think that’s the only function I regularly utilize, besides repping on Tribe threads and quoting posts.

an inverted color scheme would be better. (Predominately navy blue with white accents)

Maybe it's a Blue/Gold dress thing, but the new site seems really bright to me. Like I'm looking at a white light. <not kidding/trollin'>

I agree, it does seem a bit brighter. Maybe because there isn't a navy border around it?

The new design is a little brighter than the current site, the white is a few shades brighter on the new site. I don't think it's "hurt your eyes" brighter, but it is brighter.

I will at least put in a switch where you can select a darker theme. Navy background instead of gray. Medium gray avatar bit instead of navy. Very light shade of gray for everything that's currently white.

(Mac) I hold command to open threads in a new tab. Opens thread in current tab as well as new tab. Don't want to leave forum tab.

There will be something to this effect. Probably a main link called "Recent Threads" with all threads on the site ordered by the latest post. You'll know the threads with new posts as their title will be bold.

You do know there's a thing called a back button, right?

I tested this out and see what you're saying. I can look at that, doesn't make sense to me that it isn't working the same way.

Interesting that just a tweak had a huge influence on my reading experience. Happy for the toned down version for my snowflake eyes.

I'll work on the reverse theme tonight, it should take too long to get that working. I'll probably just add a toggle in the (currently non-existent) footer.

Have you tried turning down the brightness on your monitor? Your settings could be making it look brighter than it actually is.
