Two things, I'm not saying pardoning a known bombing terrorist in Oscar Rivera wasn't stupid or outrageous. It's possible for both sides to make bad decisions. This thread is more geared towards the repeated inconceivable actions of the GOP & president. I think Trumps increasingly horrid and stupid decisions are creating a new normal. If anything, he is the manifestation of the nativist wing within the Republican Party that rejected the more traditional conservatism of the other candidates. This would be like me trying to say Bernie Sanders isn't representative of part of the Democrat Party's values since he calls himself a Democratic Socialist and he lost to Hillary.

Second - all your haranguing about how the Nazi's in the Republican voting base being a small element of the party when you act like the Democrats are all commies. It is even more true that the radicals are a small element of the left without power. Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka and Trump at least made it to the white house (the establishment GOP is slowly neutering them thank God). I have to go in just a couple of minutes or I'd get into more detail, BUT...

The part that I bolded is fantastically untrue and is what stuck out to me the most. When you have the crew of Morning Joe (including Mika) disparaging what is going on in the left and other internationally known reporters, commentators doing the same (such as Chris Matthews and Tim Pool and Dave Rubin), you cannot get away with saying that only conservative outlets are bringing attention to it and are trying to distance themselves as far away from it as possible. There are true classic liberals who are desperately trying to do the same exact thing.
Mainstream media, though, is still largely supportive and even covering the tracks for groups like Antifa - looking at you, CNN - and trying to romanticize them. That is just a fact that has been demonstrated countless times within the various threads of this forum.

If Obama did it first, didn't he start to normalize it? I don't get your argument about the pardons. Anything else, I'll take a listen to, but Obama started this pardoning dumb asses, and again, I sure as hell wouldn't have pardoned Arapio if I were president.

Going back to the pardoning issue and focusing on the current political climate. I would ask you trump apologists how important is the mueller investigation to you? If it is important to you at all to know the full extend in which a sitting president conspired with a foreign power with anti American interests then you should be concerned by Trump's pardon.

Here is why. Mueller is leading an investigation who's subpoena power is the way to get ppl to appear in court and testify. If they do not, they're held in obstruction of justice and could face jail time. Well, now Trump can just pardon them, making the proceedings useless. That is obstruction of justice which any 'law and order' citizen should criticize. Outside of being trump over country troll, there isn't two sides to this.
