Yeah I'm in a 14 team league and Ginn isn't owned. That guy could get way better than Ginn for Gore.

Have a couple trade options I'm deciding on and am looking for some input. PPR league. I have Jamaal Charles who is now done so I need a RB.

Give up James Jones for Mark Ingram

Give up James Jones for DeMarco Murray

Give up Derek Carr for Dion Lewis

Derek Carr actually has value because we can start 2 QBs. I have Andrew Luck and Carson Palmer but Luck's shoulder worries me so I'd like to hang on to Carr, but Lewis is averaging 20ppg and if those 2 are healthy I don't need Carr.

Thoughts?

James Jones is old, they haven't been able to run much and their playoff week games are on the road (their passing stats are staggeringly lower on the road). I'd deal Jones for Murray or Ingram...or I'd deal Carr for Lewis in PPR first. Can you get like McCown or Bortles or someone on waivers as a 3rd QB?

He originally wanted Allen Hurns, i talked him down to Ginn. Feel like this is a good hustle on my part haha. Trade should be finalized tomorrow in time for thursdays games. Now I am going to try and flip J stew for a Decent WR, wish me luck

The only QB available is Brian Hoyer, lol. I could get Hasselbeck as a backup option in case Luck gets hurt. I'm thinking now is the time to trade James Jones so I can keep Derek Carr as a trade chip once it's established that Luck is healthy but wanted to get some opinions.

I would do any of these. Carr for Lewis easily. I'd go for Murray over Ingram but I'd definitely trade James Jones for any decent. I don't think what he is doing will continue.

Trade question... I'm currently in 1st, but my TE sucks (was Reed before he got hurt, had Daniels this week). Proposed trade to me is Jarvis Landry and Greg Olsen (or Antonio Gates) for DeAndre Hopkins (I also have K Allen, M Bryant, D Adams, P Garçon. We play 3)

Wouldn't do it. You're not getting enough consistency in TE to give up maybe the most valuable PPR receiver (Hopkins) in the league. You're better off streaming a TE and having Hopkins, IMO.

Would you still be against it if it's not a PPR?

Depends. Gates is a pretty good bet for double digit TD's...but Landry is less valuable in non-PPR by a lot. I still probably wouldn't give up Hopkins given that I can find a decent TE in a high pass offense each week (Rodgers, Barnidge, etc...).

I wish those guys were available. Current best available TE's in my league are: L Green, Ebron, Donnell, Gilmore

I'd just pick up Donnell. Gilmore would be good too but he like Reed can't stay healthy it seems.

Or wait for Reed to clear the protocol. He's one of the most heavily targeted TE's and plays in a TE first offense. I'd roll with Reed once he's back and maybe even stash him until then. If he's healthy he's a top 10 TE.

I'm in a shit load of leagues...anywhere from 8 to 20 teams. It's always hard to speak on these things without seeing the exact formats. Most I play are 10 or 12-team PPR leagues though...and most of the time there are always streaming TE's.

Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Jordan Reed, Eric Ebron, all injured TE's you might be able to add now and bank they return soon.

New trade question. Would you send Keenan Allen and Martavis Bryant for AJ Green? My other WRs are Hopkins, D Adams, and Garçon.

Alright, so I made the trade to acquire AJ Green. My roster now looks like this:
QB: Rodgers
WR: Green, Hopkins, Garçon, Adams
RB: Hill, Ingram, Spiller, Sankey
TE: Donnell

With that roster, would it change your feelings toward making the trade of Hopkins for Landry and Olsen (both already had their byes)?

So it's a non-PPR? I'm a huge Jarvis Landry fan, both PPR-wise and talent-wise. I'm just concerned that he won't score more than maybe 3 or 4 TD's. He's maybe the biggest difference in value from PPR and non-PPR. Hopkins is on a bad team, but is at worst, the second option. You could argue that Landry is the 4th or 5th "TD" option on Miami, despite him being one of their best players.

Olsen and Donnell are also much closer in a standard league. Donnell is a TD only guy in a great passing offense. Olsen is a target monster in a terrible passing offense.

Correct, it's non-PPR. I don't know who are TD options in front of Landry other than Miller and Tannehill. Cameron seems to be an afterthought. Not sure though. It's quite a haul considering what I anticipated when drafting Hopkins, but he's also looking like a top 5 WR

Keep Hopkins. Landry isnt even getting yards in Miami, let alone TDs.

DeVante Parker, I think eventually becomes a threat for TD's in Miami. Kenny Stills is always a home run hitter when healthy. Also have Jennings and Matthews. Also, a new coach who will want to use the TE and RB more. Again, big fan of Landry but he's got limited value in standard.

What about this?
I give: Hopkins, Garcon, and D Adams
I get: Landry, Olsen, and Mike Evans

Not sure how I feel about Evans. Winston has been awful, but Evans is a freak. Worth the buy low, or still sit tight?

I'm staying away from Tampa receivers. Because he's interception prone, you're going to see more gameplans like Sunday's where he doesn't throw the ball much. That offense cannot sustain 2 fantasy relevant receivers each week so either V-Jax or Evans will have a bad week. It's not worth giving up Hopkins for that guessing game.
