Pretty much unfolded just like I said it would. Comical to see Manning acting like the game is still winnable at 43-8. Just bag it Denver.

What a career turn around for Pete Carroll.

He had 2 pedestrian stints as an NFL head coach, and at the age of 50 he was the 4th choice of USC in 2001 when he took over.

Now he has a National Title and a Super Bowl, and with a young roster could be adding more to his collection before he hangs it up.

Lol? What has Harvin ever done? Went to Florida and ran train on Ohio State?

The really shitty thing is Carroll gets a ring. No problem with the Seattle players, really.

By early next week a lot of Somalian kids will be wearing Denver SuperBowl championship gear.

I admit I was wrong on most of this comment, but was not far off from the final score. LOL

Maybe they didn't need him to beat SF or Denver, but Harvin definitely brings more to the Seahawks.

Scary to think they traded their #1 pick for him and proceeded to get essentially nothing from him all year because he was hurt and yet still marched on to win the Super Bowl.

They have a 2 year window here to keep the team relatively together before they have to pay Russell Wilson one of those mega deals that kills the cap.

Yea, I actually kinda like the Seahawks, but I don't know how anyone can ever like Pete Carroll.

I actually can see Wilson not wanting a huge deal to make sure the team stays in tact. He's just that type of guy

This can't be serious. You go for the money, because it could all be over after 1 play.

burden of proof is on you, bitch boy.Stats are in my favor.

And I've never claimed Romo is as good as the top tier QBs.

Lol, a thread dominated by Tiernan and ccrunner. Glad I didn't bother checking into it during the game.

He had a couple solid playoff games en route to the superbowl. That doesn't count, though?

Either way, the Manning legacy debate is dumb. Literally arguing over whether he's really, really great. Or just really great.

So who all watched the whole game or stopped after a certain point? I stopped watching after the 2nd half KO return for a TD. At that point the game was over and it wasn't very compelling/competitive.

I know it's the last game of the football season... but it just wasn't very entertaining.

I watched the whole thing. I just really enjoy watching the type of football that seattle plays
