So I am the commissioner of our league and in the championship game. 14 team keeper league where the keepers have contract years. Our free agency period ends the last week of the regular season. I made a rule prior to the playoffs that if a position player of need was unable to play only then you could pick someone up. I used the example of a team having one kicker on its roster, he falls in the shower and is out for the year...he gets to pick up a kicker. My QBs were Rodgers, Keenum, and Manuel. 2 are OUT this weekend, and 1(rodgers) is most likely out. I made the rule, Im the only one who happens to use it the rule...why do I feel like Im giving myself and advantage.

Because making rules mid season is busch league, that's why.

have you talked with the other players? i feel like if you're unable to play a full lineup of healthy players then you should have the ability to add them from the waivers.
