Not at all.

And...even if that were the case, why not? If you are a good doctor with lower back pain, people will go to you. There's a need for it, someone must fill it.

Osteopathic medicine, although not my first choice, is a good alternative to traditional Western medicine. Most Doctors just give pills to make symptoms go away. The pills usually don't cure the problem. There are a lot of health issues that can be cured by diet changes, exercise, and not taking a pill to mask the symptoms. For example, a true milk allergy, being allergic to casein and whey proteins can mimic the symptoms of ADHD. A parent can medicate their kid or change their diet. A good number a lazy doctors will give the medicines because they make money from that. A diet change is easy and affordable to the patient, doctors can't make the same amount of money from that. Don't get me wrong, doctors can make all the money they want, but they should cure the patient not just mask the symptoms.

No it isn't. It's a waste of money for an expensive placebo. Honestly, the people that go into that kind of medicine are the scum of the Earth. Ever been to a chiropractor? If not, good, never go. If so, enjoy flushing money down the toilet for the rest of your life. They pray on the weak minded, the poor, and the stupid and its absolutely disgusting.

I agree about chiropractors. Went to one once (if multiple visits are once) and would never go again. Since then I've been to a massage therapist who took care of a lower back problem with one visit. He showed me the proper stretches to do and he requested zero follow up visits. I have not needed to go back the him at all.

Real doctors of osteopathic medicine can be very helpful. But of course, like all practitioners, some are great and others appear to be witch doctors.

I know in the popular lexicon, those who practice osteopathic medicine are technically considered doctors, but that's only a technicality. I don't consider them real doctors. You'd have to pay me a sum of $1 million in unmarked non-sequential bills to get me to go to one.

I slipped a disc in my back about 8 years ago and the real doctors didn't help at all, just made me feel worse. Went to a chiropractor one time after that and walked out feeling great. Just did his regular alignment, popped the disc back into place, and I was good to go. A good chiropractor is well worth it from what I learned.

I have no issues with chiropractors or those who practice alternative medicines. There's a lot of stuff out there that MD's don't and can't do.

mella hit a lot of the stuff on the head with the first post. Terry_Tate followed up with another good one. I've been to chiropractors (4 different ones) and a massage therapist. No complaints with any of them -- at least in their practice, one chiropractor is just not a friendly lady. Not one time did a chiropractor adjust me and say "come see me in ........" They all fixed me up real good. I actually got some nice information the last time I went to a chiropractor that is helpful in knowing.

The last thing I want to do is put pills or whatever else into my body that is manufactured in a plant by "scientists" that are "curing" or "fixing" people. I would rather not have discharges from every orifice just to settle heart burn. Might as well get cut open and sewed up as well any chance you can.

Just make sure to brush teeth regularly (or more regularly, unless you already do it 2-3 times a day regularly), as if you mix it in too high a level, it can damage your enamel. If you're going for the "got a million dollar body...and meth teeth", disregard that, but otherwise, a little extra tooth care definitely wouldn't hurt.

Good tip lol I mean I do brush twice a day, but maybe i'll bump it up to 3 a day. Never had a cavity in my life, thank god. I fucking hate the god damn dentist.

How many times a day do you drink a glass of water/Braggs?

"Alternative medicine" is one of the biggest crocks of shit there is. It really means "we have no evidence that this works".

Lol. Been 8 years and my back has been fine. Made the back area the main component of my workouts and hasn't been better. Dude knew what he was doing.

I would like some proof that chiropractic medicine, osteopathic medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy, and other forms of "alternative medicine" (such as herbs, iridology, or whatever else) does not have any validity.

I don't throw out all other forms of medicine, like prescription medication and surgeries, but there are many ways of "curing" or "fixing" problems. Look at how far cold therapy has come in the last few years. I am sure many used to stick up their noses at that.

I have had zero problems with chiropractic medicine or herbal remedies. They have gotten me a lot farther than what any MD did with my migraines.

Right now, three bottles of water where I take a decent sip and then fill it back up with Braggs. By "decent sip", I don't mean gulp half the bottle, but just enough to get roughly (without measuring) a couple tablespoons worth in the bottle. Usually one in the morning when I get to work, one in the mid/late afternoon and one at night. If I go out drinking, the last one (or two) get skipped for that day.

No one? No one else started laughing at this? Prove to me that god doesn't exist, and if can't then he exists!

lol what else is new, trolls until he can bring god into the argument. Just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean it won't for others.
