usually a few dq's here and there, i know mcgrath the sq was there last week. I'm always there, weighing around 210.

Rootstown Wrestling is hosting Open Mats Every Wednesday from now until the Fall

Don't let a whole off season go by with out getting back on the mats! How bad do you want it?:confused: No Excuses, No whining, No reason to miss..... EVERY Wednesday Night!

When: Every Wednesday 6:30pm - 8:00pm until the start of the season
Where: Rootstown Wrestling Room (Located Under the Rootstown Elementary School) Park in the Main Parking lot and head towards the football field, follow the sidewalk all the way down and enter at the Blue door on your right....It's underneath the left side of Elementary Building (The middle Building)


All wrestlers, any age & any skill level are encouraged to attend, if we can consistently have a good showing of wrestlers we will consider going twice a week and extending our hours!

I believe they have been thin on big guys lately, but once Kwan Bailey (Kent State 174) gets home me and him will start rolling up there.

Are Central Cross and Olentangy Orange still having open mats on Thursdays?

Central Crossing is still having them at 6pm. We have had a small but competitive group all summer. I am hoping it will pick up and get bigger when school starts. We have had Darby, Bradley, Ready, and Grove City kids in attendance. We will be running them straight thru til the start of the season. Grove City HS is also having open mats on Mondays at 6pm.
