Alright so I'm hanging out with this chick the other night, she's recently divorced, and when I mean recently I mean less than 6 months out of it. We're just sort of chillin', shootin the shit, not a whole lot happening. At one point she suggests popping in a movie.

Keep in mind it was her idea to hang out in the first place, and before we did that she made a point to say I'm not looking for anything serious right now, I'm single and need time to heal.

Movie is going well, she decides she wants to get a little cozy. Things start to happen and eventually we kiss a couple of times (I will admit I was the instigator of this but she was the one who instigated everything else). Go home and wake up the next morning not feeling good about any of it. She makes the point again to say that she's not interested in anything serious, but that last night wasn't bad and she still wants to hang out.

I guess what I'm asking is what exactly is she looking for here? She's the one who says she doesn't want to get into anything, yet she's the one who instigated most of the events that took place the other night

She's telling you she wants no-strings-attached sex. What's your problem? Do you have some real feelings for her and afraid of being hurt? To be fair, "not looking for anything serious" never means she won't be a bat-shit crazy stalker in 2 months.

I don't have feelings for her, per se. She's fun to hang out with and all, but i don't really know if I want anything to develop or not. I kind of went over there not expecting much because I was bored out of my mind. We text every now and then but when that happens I usually send one first, not her. But she sent me one the other night

What this means is that in a couple months, we'll get to read a "why do nice guys finish last" thread when you've been dumped into the friend (or less) zone and she's getting dicked by some guy who dropped his pants.

You just have to right click the photo before opening it, and select "open in a new tab." However, it is illegal to post the picture on OC.
