I've got 5 spots open and I'm considering these 6 guys: Chris Johnson, Mendenhall, Forte, Maclin, Colston, Miles Austin. Which poor guy gets left out of the rotation. PS, I absolutely need this game. I'm in the lead for the last playoff spot, but I'm up against the 2nd ranked guy and a loss could cost me because two guys are one game behind me, and I only share the tie-breaker over one guy.

I didnt look up who the opponents are, but I go with Colston as the odd man out.

austin...without that 60 yard run, he has 2 points last week. He just isn't as big a part of the offense as he was earlier in the year/last season

That's been my thinking. He just isn't Kitna's favorite target. Dez is, although he had zero catches last week. I'm going with Maclin. Vick loves him and they have a good oppenent this week. So I think it's between Miles and Colston. CJ was the first pick of the draft, but unless Colins plays, I might bench him. He won't do shit with Rusty Smith in there. Mendenhall has been good, but the Ravens are tough. Forte comes and goes. I think it's either Forte, Johnson, or Miles on the bench. I'll wait until word of Kerry Colins comes out.

I know I said Colston, and Im sticking too it...but Dey is right about Austin. I dont really think either is a great play. Coltson is so damn hit or miss with all the weapons. Honestly Lance Moore is the red-zone threat in NO now. Austin is tough cause he doesnt get the looks, but his physical abilities can can a screen pass for a TD. He has the big play ability, which Colston doesnt (unless its a deep pass).

I agree with Laley I'd sit Colston.

Also SMMFH at the thought of you even thinking of benching Johnson unless he has some kind of injury you start him no doubt about it.

Philly is playing Houston so there is no reason to bench Maclin with that terrible Pass D
Forte is playing Detriot sure the Lions have a pretty good D-Line but they are still the Lions and Forte has been solid this year
Mendenhall has been a beast no reason to bench him even if they are playing the Ravens

That leaves Austin and Colston. Austin has the ablity to make a big play on his own while Colston really doesn't I also think the Bengals might actually step up for once and really limit the Saints passing and I think the Cowboys and Colts are just going to pass all day against each other.

This is just one mans opinion though.

I agree with Colston being the odd man out. Very well stated turtles.

Forte vs. the lios or cj and rusty smith vs. whoever. The titans are horrible with this kid. It would have been wise last week. I donte think its too crazy.
