I hate starting qb's on thursday but man farve was good last year

i would say eli, hes playing the panthers...there de isnt nearly as good as the saints and you dont know what youll get from favre this year

as of now im leaning toward ELI but i would hate to miss out on some type of shootout tonight

I have conflicting viewpoints on this.

I agree that I usually hold guys back on Thursday if there is any doubt.

But in Week 1 I also don't like to take a projected starter out of the lineup. I'd rather give the top guys that were picked to be starters that first chance to be starters. There are enough weeks to shake it up later.

Although I'm not playing Minnesota's defense against the Saints. I picked up Tennessee vs. Oakland.
