Why did Ironman move to the second weekend of the season. Wasn't it traditionally the first weekend?

I can't remember how many mats they run but as for how late Friday, it just depends. Every year it's a little different time, depending on how many pins.

Josh Demas, Great job on 3rd. You're an exciting and lightening quick wrestler to watch. Would have loved to see you in the finals.
GREAT tournament Josh!!!

It's hard to cheer for just one side when you are really cheering for the state of Ohio. There were a few matches where I had to just keep quiet because I know both wrestlers and I don't want them thinking I am taking sides. This happens more and more. I think all the boys that wrestled in this tournament really stepped up huge to wrestle the way they did. A few that stood out for me were:
1)Decamillo , Heil and Nathan Tomasello. Heil for beating the #1 ranked kid in this tourney Decamillo for winning it and Nathan for giving 110% on the Mat as usual !
2) Logan for being Logan. Johny for wrestling till the end !
3) Hunter for bringing it in a brutal weight class. Nick, Kagan,Jerome and Tye for an outstanding effort.
4) Cam Tessari you the MAN! Mason went nuts ! By far you are Masons favorite wrestler!
6) Ian for almost taking it from Villalonga !
7) Squire same 5-4 is a tuff one but Alton is an animal !
8) Harrison another wrestler that my son looks up to! Keep your head up and be proud.
9)160 speaks for itself ! O-H-I-O !!!!!!!!
I vote for the Ironman tournament to be a Holiday !!! So we can all go with out getting in trouble for skipping school!
