How do you guys spend your entertainment money. My wife and I used to go to the movies occasionally but due to lack of interest and higher prices I don’t remember the last movie we saw in a theater.

Since we moved to Nashville we have been spending more on live music. We live to attend writers rounds at blue bird cafe or the listening room. Tonight we are seeing Uncle Kracker, JT Harding , and The Warren Brothers at Bluebird which should be a good time.

We’re also going to check out PopStroke this weekend which is a Top Golf style putt putt place.

Then we spend the majority just going out to eat. Although we have cut back because I’ve been ordering prepared meals from Clean Eatz.

Most of our "entertainment" money is spent on food and drinks. We don't dine out a lot during the week, but typically go out a few times a week. We also go to our favorite brewery in the area (Paradise Brewing) about once a week.

My wife and I both have good jobs and no kids, so we have a pretty high entertainment budgets especially because my wife works a lot of hours and when she is off we really try to enjoy our time.  We go to concerts, NFL games (my wife actually went to the ireland game), and lots of dinners.  Our favorite spot is ocean club at easton.  We also go to hyde park quite often.  We are usually the type of people to go right when it opens or at the latest maybe 5pm.  Lots of good specials on drinks and HH menus as well.  I also recently joined a golf simulator place that runs about 230$ a month for unlimited 24/7 access, but honestly I havent been getting my moneys worth on that and we pay for my wife for golf lessons which arent cheap.  I usually do at least one  day a week with my friends to meet up to watch sports and play golden tee.  I am wanting to get a new car in the next year or so, so I am thinking of trying to trim my budget a bit.

Have you tried Butcher and Rose yet? We thought it blew Ocean Club out of the water.

yea, but it also was more expensive.  I feel like my bill was $450 plus dollars when we went there with tip....I would say at ocean club its more like 300 ish depending on how many 20$ cocktails my wife has.   We did like it tho.  I would have never thought that the service someplace could be "too good"  lol.  I actually needed some space, i felt like the server stood by the table and wiped my chin after each bite.  I also think jeff ruby blows ocean club out of the water as well as Maestro's, however both of those also usually end up at 450 plus dollars.

$450 at Ruby?! We just went to The Precinct (our favorite Ruby restaurant) a few weeks ago and it was $250, and that included a $45 lobster mac and cheese. We each only got one drink.
