Going through my two main fire proof cases and totally forgot I had this card….you will like Justin

Many of my better 50+ year old cards

I thought I had this one in a PSA slab but I was wrong. I do, however have his '57 and '58 Topps card in a PSA slab, which I did not think I had based on my spreadsheet.
I think I am going to look for this one in an SGC slab. I am actively shopping for a '59 Frank Robinson in an SGC slab because the black card looks great in the black slab.

Not sharp corners but dang might be a 4 or 5 for a card that old is nice. I honestly don’t remember getting it.
Latest pickup.

Stickered for $110 but got it for $100.
It's been a month since my last purchase, I'm itching to buy something before the new year.

What are you thinking?
Maybe the 1989 Fleer Bill Ripken Fuck Face error (any grade, any grader). Maybe the 1959 Topps Frank Robinson SGC 5-6.

Surprisingly I don’t have that Ripken card
I'm also eyeing this one:

Nice card…Interesting choice
That is in great shape
I met Jim Bunning at the Green Diamond Gallery a long time ago and I really like the pink card in the black slab.
Ok, going to give this Nuxhall a go:
Hot damn.

I have the 1996 refractor of this worth about $30
I have a friend who as been going crazy on some app/website where you bid on getting cards and they rip them live in front of you, I dont know which one. He literally does it all hours of the day and night. Then I have to hear the stories of the cards he gets over and over. I hope he gets over this soon. I dont think he is being profitable at this point. Seems like has to bid at least 60$ per rip and then you end up with a shitty team. So far he has got two really good cards tho. A 1 of 1 bryce harper card that comes in some type of glass frame. He also got a Cooper Flagg rookie card. But his ROI has to be terrible.

lol he actually is a former cleveland indian pitcher..his card can be found on Ebay for 2$ i just found out last week.
Yeah same types going to Walmart and target and buying every box per truckload ….screw the kids lol. I’m sure the card companies are losing money on these guys and I’m sure they are living the dream.
I have no desire for a random autograph card of a guy that may or may not go in to be a star…..even the guys who just get in the HOF the cards aren’t doing more than holding their value. It’s gotta be the huge stars to even think about holding their value value but there are so many different types 1 of 1’s it takes a career of Judge/Ohtani/Soto to stay valuable for the long haul.
And the 28-33 year olds that go this are mostly jerks that know everything
Yep, I just buy single cards that appeal to me. Not really worried about long term value or anything.

Same
These guys trying to make a fortune and think they are but are spending wild numbers.
I don’t care for value either as I’m never selling the cards I will buy or have bought.
Been hunting for this one for a while. Put in a comfortable max bid and won for almost $20 less.
