Speaking of taxes. Is this shutdown going to delay our refunds? I also notice congress still gets paid during shutdowns which is bs

Yeah, if the rank-and-file are going without, there's no reason the shit at the top of the hill deserves to be getting anything, especially considering the shutdown essentially lies at the feet of the president and congress and the others are at their mercy.

Has nothing to do with Trump. People have thought that for, probably, as long as I've been alive. That means conservatives and liberals. Principles often have the side effect of not having any personal gain.

Besides all of that, what exactly is so wrong with wanting to see people do better for themselves after a period of time? I'm going to guess that most people who have had to use some sort of welfare and then are able to get off of it are quite proud of the fact. IMO it is not a shame to have to use it, it is a shame to stay on it.

I think it was one person who posted it, and then everyone shit on that person. I follow a large contingent of conservatives who strongly dislike her, and all defended the video and actually made her out to be more normal.

She has so much more that deserves shit on (like pretending to have grown up poor) than a stupid video.

Yeah but Breakfast Club is a decidedly white, suburban flick.....so shouldn't she be apolgoizing for cultural appropriation?

As a person, she seems fine and normal.  I'm pretty sure I did plenty of embarrassing shit in college that someone has record of somewhere.

Pence's default expression is "dude suffering from extreme constipation", so I don't know I'd agree with a person saying he looks notably "uncomfortable" in a particular setting. Looked about the same as he does in most photos I've seen of him.

I believe Pence is somewhat spineless to never speak out against some of the BS Trump spews. However, there was nothing "uncomfortable" appearance wise when he was swearing in the said senator. Also, just because one believes in the Bible and that homosexuality is a sin, doesn't automatically make one homophobic. 

That'd be like saying that his belief on eating dinner with a female colleague alone is wrong, so that means he hates single women. You may disagree with his belief, but his belief doesn't lead to "he hates said people" logically.
